A Beautiful Night

Kole sat down alongside the shore of the lake, under the shade of a tree behind her. She sat with her legs crossed, though they were barely noticable with the long blue dress she wore, as well as her arms crossed. She gazed out over the water, at the reflection of the moon in the water. It was a glorious night, and the wind was blowing gently along the water. She enjoyed this time of day.

"So nice out here..."

Kole rose from her sitting position, and looked around to examine the area. She noticed a few other people around the area, but none in the immediate vacinity. She casually began walking along the shore, heading north. She was enjoying the weather and the great breeze. She walked along as leaves provided much shade for her from the many trees, the moonlight shining on them. It was a beautiful sight. Everything around her seemed serene. It was refreshing, to have some quiet time instead of always worrying about random things.

As she continued to walk along the shore, Kole constantly glanced over at the surface of the lake. She tripped over the tail of her dress as she walked up to it then got a feel for the water. It was cool, but it was just the right temperature for her. She took off the white sandals she wore to sink her feet into the water. She shivered a little as she stepped into it for a few seconds, then jumped out.

She failed to notice that there was a guy nearby. She did manage to hear his voice calling out to her. She looked around only to find the guy behind her. She jumped then took a deep breath. She greeted him with big grin. "Hiiiii!!!"

An estranged look had now overpowered Kole's light skinned face, for she now felt embarrassed, maybe because the guy may have just witnessed her display of clumsiness when she tripped over her own clothing. That was just like her, wearing things that were just too big for her, hiding her generous figure, but she liked to wear that kind of stuff for some weird reasons.

When the answered her, she excitingly gave a quick wave as she watched him 'do a little dance'. Though many of the students were depressed and sometimes, even miserable, Kole was different. She always managed to maintain a positive attitude, in the toughest times.....When the guy, named Christopher-James, introduced himself, she did the same. "Well, hello Christopher-James! Heehee!! My name is Kole!" she responded.

When he implied that her name was lovely, she giggled in excitement. "Heehee! Thankies!" she exclaimed happily. She watched him as he hopped around the shore and back towards her. A splendid night it is indeed, she thought, then quickly nodded in agreement. "Yup, yup. I think it's beautiful." she said while stroking her bare feet through the sand.

As he proceeded to the water, Kole did the same. She pulled up the long tail of her dress, then tiptoed into the lake. Her body trembled gently as she continued to move forward until the surface was about knee high. "Heehee! It's coooooold!!"
