The roots dragged Eli into the center, right next to the oversize petals. As Elisa called out to whom she was, the roots that dragged Eli hold her upside down in front of her. With a simple wave, the fog around the area was dismissed and reveals the splendor of small field of flowers with Pallavi in her all of her flowery grace at its center. She to Elisa with disappointment in her eyes.

"Why... why did you have to come to t-this place... this place of all places..." lulled Pallavi, letting out a sigh. "M-my name is... Pallavi... Pallavi Weathers... and... I'm sorry but... please don't freak out but... I'm going to have k-kill you... so... I'm sorry... s-sorry that things have to b-be this way..."

For a moment, Pallavi seemed intent to kill Eli as several additional roots spring up, wriggling to reach her throat... but then suddenly recede. Pallavi's stonewall face breaks down, quivering her lower lip before deciding to let Eli drop to the ground. She can't kill her like this, not when she looked so scared. Maybe she can delay the moment of execution... if only for the moment.

"Sssorry... I k-know its... h-hard to for me to ask that y-you die but... I... errr.... I guess I don't need to kill you just yet. I... I know you must have a lot to say and... I'll give you t-time to come... come to terms with your death. Err... you can talk to me however long you want... at least until... your comfortable with dying. I dont want y-you to... suffer... or anything... sorry... I know I am just making this all weird now for you." Pallavi interweaves her fingers, looking around the woods finding it hard to look Eli in the eyes.

"Ummm... I can't let you l-leave this place however... so... please don't try to escape or... f-fight back... I'll... I'll just accidentally end up h-hurting you more than necessary."

She was moving, yet not of her own will, over to a large flower, and with the fog dissipating, saw Pallavi. Recognising that the girl's voice was the same as the one in her head, she nodded, not wanting to die, but realising just how much trouble she was in.

She winced as Roots appeared, but they disappeared again. Pallavi didn't want to kill her.

Not yet, it seemed as she continued speaking. Being righted, Elisa fell to her knees, her face red from the blood.

Clearing her throat, she had to stay calm. "So," She began, sounding strangely excited, even to her own ears. "Do you mind if I take a picture? I came here looking for you and all. It would be a shame to not take at least one picture of you."

She was rambling, Elisa knew it. "I mean, look at you, you are beautiful, and that flower? Wow." If she wasn't held still, Elisa would have walked over to Pallavi to touch one of the petals.

"Huh... you... came looking for me... why? Did... did someone tell you to... to come find me?" asked Pallavi, giving her a wary gaze "And... pictures? Like a photograph? Well... I guess you can take a picture of me... though... "

Pallavi scratches her head, wondering why anyone would bother setting up a camera to take a picture of her. She does remember the part where she has to kill her in the end right? And it would be days for the film to develop anyway. She really didn't see the point of having her picture taken but... that doesn't mean that she saw any reason to refuse either.

"... sorry... ummm... that should be fine... you... you really think I like beautiful?" asked Pallavi as she looked around herself, the compliment really catching her off guard as she does not feel beautiful. Far from beautiful actually. As Pallavi looked herself over, any remaining roots holding onto Eli let go and slithered back underground and allow Elisa free moment.

Her ramblings actually worked? "Oh, yeah, you are beautiful. Definitely beautiful. I mean, you look 14, but way better than I would have looked at that age." Elisa didn't know how she looked, but it was a fair guess.

She pulled her phone out of her pocket. Moving over to Pallavi, she position herself so both girls can be seen in the picture. "Say cheese!"

" ... 14? Sorry that... that isn't right..." spoke up Pallavi, perplexed as to how the girl concluded that she was somehow 14 thought it did bring to mind how old was she? She had no idea to be certain long she has been living on this forest though to her it felt like only... two or three years. As Pallavi was lost in though trying to figure out how old she really was, she was brought back into reality as the girl suddenly exclaimed the word cheese.

"Huhh?" was all that Pallavi managed to get out before her dumbfounded expression was captured on the phone camera.

"WHHHOOOAAAA! Blimey!" exclaimed Pallavi, staring in amazement over the girl's shoulder as she saw both of their faces on the screen of the girl's strange camera.

"Sorry... sorry if I was bit loud... but-" quickly apologized Pallavi, smiling sheepishly to the girl as she asks more about the camera "... h-how does they film f-fit inside the capsule? Its so thin... and w-when did photos show color and how did it develop so fast onto... uhh... the picture box? It it some sort of... magical camera?"

Film? Elisa arrived without memories, but this was something else. Photos without colour? "My phone has a camera? It takes..."

With a start, she remembered an obscure fact about some plants in the Amazon being present since the ice age. What if this girl was the same? "Uh, you don't happen to know the date, do you?"

"I-its a telephone too? H-how can you carry both a telephone and camera in something so thin?" exclaimed Pallavi, the concept of phone that was somehow mobile and integrated with a camera somehow was incredibly foreign to her.

"And... uh... the date? Ummm... " Pallavi scratched her head, having no idea what the exactly date was. "Sorry... I... I don't know what t-the date is... sorry Umm... I could only guess its... 1940... or maybe 1941?" answered though there was some doubt in her voice.

1941? She was way out of touch. "Um, Its a bit different than that." Elisa said slowly. "My phone, this thing, it also has a calender in it. I think I need to show you something."

Exiting the camera option, she tapped a few times, finally accessing the calender. Showing her the screen, Elisa spoke carefully. "The year is 2018, Pallavi."
