She seems more homoromantic because she's less likely to beat up females than males, but this is not confirmed. Secretly she adores cute stuff and has a thing for dogs. While she'll admit her love for dogs, you would be hard pressed to get her to confess her love of cuteness. Jerks that abuse puppies beware. She is a big eater and absolutely adores the taste of meat.

She can use these same powers to cause both growth and decomposition of earthen materials. Yes, this means she could literally punch a hole in the wall not because of her strength but because the contact would crack the surface and make it decay. Naturally the harder the surface, the longer it would take to break through it. Volume also affects the speed and energy required to manipulate it.
Biography: A pair of children were born late summer. They were fraternal twins. One was a boy; the other was a girl. They were human babies with special powers that had not yet been revealed. They were born to parents that they would never know. It was likely that they were born out of wedlock; two unwanted children birthed from a man and woman that weren't careful enough. The man performed an in-out job; he banged her then ran. The heartbroken woman abandoned the children out of a mixture of rage and inability to keep them for reasons they wouldn't know.
Thus the twins were exposed to the harshness of life early. They quickly found out that in order to survive, they would need each other's help and support. These twins were named Alexander and Alexis. They long since forgot the last name given to them. As far as they figured, it's not like their parents wanted them anyway. They moved around often and took advantage of various opportunities to survive. They each learned their own survival tactics on how to make it through life.
Lexi was the aggressive twin. When she was small, others would often try to assault her just because she was a defenseless little girl. She quickly got sick of other people's shit and learned street fighting. She would beat the crap out of those that would mess with her or her brother. She had great hunting and gathering skills; she had an eye for materials and precious things. However, she was terrible at domestic pursuits and had little patience for such tasks. She was always hotblooded and all about proving herself to others.
She learned about her powers accidentally while engaged in an all-out brawl. Some of her defeated opponents decided to team up on her. This proved to be effective as she was left on the ground. Just as they were about to finish her off, she furiously punched the asphalt out of frustration. This hit caused the ground to crack and cement to suddenly spike up and forcefully knock the bullies away. The girl was baffled but then excited about what she could actually do. What kickass powers she had!
Her terrakinesis would often get inadvertently used during her tantrums. It was not uncommon for her to break a hole in the wall or to put cracks in the ground. With her touch, she could cause quite a bit of destruction. This unfortunately made it even more difficult for the twins to stay in one place for long; people didn't generally have the power to rip out a large chunk of sidewalk and toss it at people's heads. She often used her abilities in minor ways to help her get the edge on street brawling; this earned the twins quite a bit of money.
Starlight Academy located the twins and sent letters to both of them just as they were struggling to figure out what to do about jobs. The twins decided to go for the opportunity; after all, it wouldn't hurt to check out the island. Lexi in particular was hoping for more challenging opponents besides the creeps that wanted to take her virginity or the boastful losers that couldn't throw a proper punch.
