Darius met the end of the day with a small frown on his face as he watched a small, brown haired boy fail yet again at controling his power over earth, making the ground fall instead of rising it up as the task he had set in front of him at the beginning of their session demanded. By the time the school year had ended, he was the only one with this problem in his class and the human-shaped dragon had thus offered to tutor him during the summer break in order to make sure that the boy was ready, and in complete control by, his next school year. However, it did not seem like they would be able to achieve that goal today.
''Do not worry about it, Michael'', the teacher said, putting a hand onto the boy's shoulder once the alarm on his phone announced the time he had set up as the end of the session. Usually he would have offered him to stay for a few more hours despite this, as he thought nothing of sacrificing his free time to helping his students do better in their studies. Today, however, he was expecting someone else, thus sending a boy on his way to the dorm with a promise that soon he would be unstoppable. Once the boy was gone, he once again pulled a letter informing him about the arrival of one of his sisters to school out of the pockets of his jeans.
Looking over it, he wondered what she would be like, considering that she was one of the many siblings he had never properly met. The years he had spent away from home had been short in some, but longer in other ways. Short in a way that time went much slower for dragons, considering how long they lived. Long in ways that he now had many brothers and sisters he had never even seen, Syrilith being one of them.
''Well'', he thought to himself. ''I am about to find out'' He had asked his sister to meet him here, in his classroom, after he finished his additional class with Michael in order to properly meat for the first time and talk.
