Inky's Guide to Manta Carlos

Hi, everyone! I'm sure it's not any surprising for any residents of our beloved island to encounter things outside of the narrow reality but what makes it all great is how the island is brimming with all these mysteries you can't even count!

I'm Inky and I'm about to make it my mission to document each and every tale I encounter on this island. Welcome to my blog! I hope I'm up for this task!

Rumor has it that the city's local pizzeria has intense ghost activity involving a haunted animatronic that attacks people at night. Just this afternoon, I went to the establishment in question and I can confirm that there is a haunted animatronic. I'm not kidding, I literally talked to it...er, them. They kept warning me not to go to the shop from midnight to 6am. Well, I probably won't be harmed if I go there with some enchantments, right?

I'm going in there. Wish me luck.

Hey bloggers! Inky's back and surprisingly alive. As you've heard from the news and my tweets from last weekend, our little corn maze quest didn't turn out as we wanted it to be. Things went a little downhill along the way and I may have had some uh... near-death experiences there. I'm alive and uninjured, thankfully, but I may need to step away from these adventures for a couple of weeks :)

So I've been hearing stories going around about a mysterious corn maze in the agricultural area of the island owned by a "Mr. Jenkins" (sounds pretty fishy if you ask me). According to Mr. Jenkins, he had built this maze in the spirit of Samhain and has hidden a very valuable treasure which he claims it can bring magic and wonder to those who find it. The maze is said to be open to the public on the 22nd of this month apparently.

... Well, I don't know about you but I'm completely sold. See you on the maze >:D

Legend has it that every full moon, a strange apparition of a lofty mansion appears in the woods atop a hill, its lights illuminating through the darkness accompanied by the pale moon. Witness accounts say that the mansion is nothing but an illusion and once they arrive on the top of the hill, nothing is left but ruins of a once-loved manor house now crumbling into dust as nature reclaims the plot. Old stories tell of a fire engulfing the building, some say it was simply abandoned and left to rot, leaving it to become its current state.

There are a few rumors that tell come the last full moon of winter, the mansion returns to this world. According to sources, the house is empty with no signs of residency--dust covering furniture, cobwebs everywhere, hinges creaking about from disuse, and the coldness of a long abandoned home lingers. The mansion, they say, appears as though it was untouched by time; like a still image long before it had crumbled to dust. But along with these, reports also tell sightings of specters and shadows lurking about. They say if you listen closely, you'll be able to hear ghostly chattering and lively music playing along the dark halls.

Rumors have also told of one group that ventured into the abandoned mansion and was never heard from again.

I don't know about you guys, but I smell a dark murder mystery in our midst. I wouldn't go there if I were you.
