I recently made my first character, so I figure I should write a thread here like everyone else does. Send a PM if you wanna do a thread about whatever.

My character is Felicity Chevalier, a soon-to-be English teacher at the academy. I wondered if I should make her a villain from the getgo, but thought maybe that would be a poor decision for a first character, and will let that develop as it will, depending on future interactions.

The eventual goal I'm playing with is to make as much money as possible through ill means.

She's inherently a scam artist. While she won't actively try to steal from people if she doesn't need to, she may do it just because she feels like it's a challenge. It's easy to steal from normal people, but it's an intriguing prospect to steal from magical ones. She uses illusion magic to make her way through this, though naturally if caught she won't be making any friends.

She also likes to do sleight of hand tricks and magic tricks for people, especially when it doesn't use her magic, because that's all the more fun. It's obviously a little more difficult when trying against people with heightened senses, but that's all part of the practice, right? In a world with magic, doing magic without magic is even more impressive.

She will naturally tend towards other 'wizard' type people, because they're similar to her. She also enjoys teaching, and likes students for the most part. She's a bit stoic to the normal antics of teenagers, but will be on board any sort of heist or scheme, since it reminds her of her own childhood.

Not really interested in romance at the moment. It's not really her thing. Maybe in the future.

Here's a card trick for your viewing pleasure.
