in the Starlight Academy universe, the Hellions are a specific kind of demon.

Each hellion is descended from or related to one of the seven demonic lords of sin:

• Leviathan, Lord of Envy
• Beelzebub, Lord of Gluttony
• Mammon, Lord of Greed
• Asmodeus, Lord of Lust
• Lucifer, Lord of Pride
• Belphegor, Lord of Sloth
• Satan, Lord of Wrath

Typically, the hellions have powers and/or predispositions aligned with the sin their relative is associated with.
