Appearance Description: Hector is pretty hard to miss even if you try. He’s 5’9”, with strong draconic features. His head is more or less encased in thick bone, with thick spikes coming off the back, and a segmented exoskeleton encasing his neck. Hector’s scales are smooth and hard with similar bony armored plating forming his claws, and running down his forearms, and his shins and feet.
Personality Description: He’s definitely a dork(weeb), trying to be a cool kid. But he’s made good enough friends that that almost doesn’t matter. Hector tends to be loud and reckless to compensate for any shortcomings he might have. And when worse comes to worse, he just follows his baser instincts and headbutts his problems, or just roars at them. In short, he’s kind of an idiot but he’s also kind of a good guy.
Active Abilities:
Hot Rocks: Hector is capable of producing and firing chunks of partially molten rock from his mouth. He can fire three consecutive shots. It takes about five minutes for him to be able to fire again after using all three shots
Passive Abilities:
Hard bodied: Hector’s head is encased in a bony exoskeleton that seems to be completely impervious to damage done to it. His scales are tough, but not even remotely to the degree that his head. Hector's scales are heaviest down the back of his neck and across his back, and become thinner the farther from his head they are. Small arms gunfire can harm him, leaving him with bruises. He is also resistant to extreme heat.
Earth dragon physiology: Hector can lift one ton. His bite strength is on par with a crocodile’s. The destructive force that is put out by when he charge into something is on par with a rhinoceros. Hector can reach speeds of 60 mph. Hector has wolf like levels of hearing and smelling. His vision however is below average, requiring him to wear contact lenses.
Healing: Hector heals twice as fast as the average human.
Weaknesses:
Water: Hector is too dense to swim. He’ll sink in large bodies of water and drown. Soaking him causes Hector to become sluggish and limits mobility.
Wind magic: Magic based from wind elements hurt him twice as much as they would an ordinary person.
Lightning: Lightning magic or regular lightning based attacks also harm him to a similar degree as wind magic does. It's twice as effective against him compared to an ordinary person.
Earthbound: Hector gradually becomes more physically ill the longer and further away from the ground he is. This doesn’t only include planes, but boats as well.
Biography: Hector hails from an earth dragon clan who are closely affiliated with the Drakenhardts. Their clan refused to take on completely human forms, instead opting for humanoid forms while keeping many of their draconic features plain as day. Hector was the child of the clan’s current head, and was sent to Dark Crystal Academy on Manta Carlos to study, and broaden his horizons.
Unfortunately upon arriving and getting settled in, he got mixed up with the wrong crowd. He was sneaking out at night, spray painting buildings, and of course drinking and partying. It was actually at the point where he’d gotten a pretty stern talking to and he was starting to behave when he got frozen in time for 12 years. He was frozen in time, and forgotten by everyone who cared about him. His parents went and had a first child… again. He is now coping with being a 2007 kid in a 2019 world.
Resources: Currently residing at Starlight Academy dorms. Receives a monthly allowance from the Drakenhardts and his parents on the condition that he’s behaving. Also works as a convenience store attendant.
