Appearance Description: Frysta sports the standard blue hair of the Alpine ice dragons. He’s 5’9” with a runners build. He in terms of clothing style, he leans towards more punkish outfits.
His dragon form is notably larger than most dragons his age. It’s quadrupedal and very robust with black and dark blue scales which are very cold to the touch. His scales grant him a certain degree of camouflage when hunting in this form.
Personality Description: Frysta is for all intents and purposes too intense for someone so young. He was raised from the time he hatched to be the strongest in his clan. And he tries to embody what his late parents had envisioned for their clan. To that end, he’s very loyal to his clan. Frysta does seem to carry the weight of a ruler even though he’s so young. This can cause a bit of friction, as sometimes he does speak out of turn.
He’s an avid learner, and always looking to improve his own skills. By that same token, he is highly competitive especially with other dragons around his age.
Active Abilities:
Freezing Fire: Frysta can generate and manipulate freezing fire, it functions like normal fire, but as the name suggests it freezes. He can regulate the temperature to leave thin layers of frost on targets, or intensify it to the point that it freezes targets solid, as opposed to burning them to a crisp. Frysta can control the flames in a manner like standard fire users, shaping them into fireballs, and controlling the fire within twenty feet of himself.
Thermokinesis: Frysta can cool his body to -350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prolonged physical contact with him in this state can cause necrosis of the flesh, and instantly freeze most liquids he comes into contact with.
Getting Hotter: Frysta can heat his body and flames up to temperatures capable of melting steel. Frysta can swap between hot and cold, but he cannot use both at the same time. Swapping too rapidly between temperatures can cause him to become sick, and unable to access his temperature and fire based abilities for about an hour.
Shifting: Frysta can shift into his human and dragon form. He is capable of partially shifting his limbs, claws, wings, scales, and tail.
Passive Abilities:
Physique: Frysta possesses predatory senses. He is able to lift one ton, possesses enhanced reflexes, and run at 60 mph in his dragon form. His blood is cryogenic, thus making him feel ice cold regardless of how warm it is. In his dragon form he sports steel hard scales, and wings that grant flight.
Regenerating: Frysta can heal from cuts, bone breaks, and injuries in a matter of seconds to minutes. Bones do need to be set properly in order to heal right. Frysta can also regenerate lost limbs over the course of a week.
Temperature immunity: Frysta was bred to be able to withstand extreme temperatures on both ends of the spectrum. Fire does not burn him, ice may be able to cut him, but he cannot be frozen solid.
Weaknesses: Frysta is more susceptible to lightning, and earth elemental magics. Both will do double the damage they would do to someone with no resistances at all.
Biography: Frysta is the hier to the Ha’un clan, which is a smaller group within the larger ice dragon community in the Alps. His earliest memories involved intensive combat and survival training drilled into his head by his father. Aside from this he was taught about aspects of the world beyond their little village, which fueled his curiosity to see the world as a whole. There was an overall push from both of his parents to attempt to integrate into the rest of the world’s magic society.
This ultimately led to their deaths at the hands of a member of the community who wasn’t particularly keen on any movements towards expanding outside of their circle. An investigation was conducted, and the killer and their co-conspirators were brought to justice.
As for Frysta, he was now next in line, however he was still too young to take up the position. A regent was appointed to rule until such times that he could take over. The boy would continue his training for another three years in the village. When th Rukt’In clan opted to branch out, Frysta was actually very eager to see what was beyond their territories but was forbidden out of fear for his personal safety. Several months passed with Frysta presenting the same argument: how could he maintain relations and be expected to make a full transition if he had no idea of the lay of the land on Manta Carlos and other communities operated.
It was not long after this, Frysta was allowed to leave the village to learn about Manta Carlos. He is currently attending school.
