Hal blindly participates and joins the Haunted Cornmaze for a fun-filled treasure hunt, excitedly blogging and tweeting about it in his social media, blissfully unaware of what lies in store but after a few hours, he soon realizes he's in bad company.

Hal runs into The Butcher (Tom) in the maze, among many others, and while not particularly life threatening. The conversation somehow devolved into Vince Fontana (Poppy) wanting to trade him off for The Butcher's knife — something Hal obviously wouldn't want. It ended up putting him in an uncomfortable spot and vaguely announced in his Twitter that he would not ever cover any reasearch on The Butchers for his blog.

During their rendezvous in the barn, they uncover corpses hidden underneath the floorboards, causing alarm to the current group.

He manages to survive the full zombie horde under the protection of the stronger group and Cat's (Ghost) shield in particular. In the end, he returns home safe, although a little more than shaken from the whole event.

Arach arrives to the Cornmaze along with Chloe Black (Kait) expecting a relatively competitive treasure hunt adventure until the secrets of the cornmaze is unveiled.

The maze is revealed to be a trap for someone performing demonic rituals for the sake of immortality, much to her distaste. On their exit from the ritual room, the cavern collapses, and a horde of zombies is summoned.

In one last attempt to fend off the zombie horde, Arach asks Chloe and everyone else to leave her behind while she holds them off. The horde overcome her and her mortal form perishes in the maze.

Irene starts out shadowing behind her sisters and only unveiling herself as the mysteries of the sleepy town of Sunset Valley unfolds. They start finding body parts of the missing person, Anne Price, and Irene inwardly suspects some sort of murder with the Price couple. She is witness to the first revelation as Melissa Cook is revealed to have been replaced with a robot, alerting the group of suspicious activity going on the town.

She then takes shelter in the local diner, helps in barricading to protect themselves along with her sisters and friends in the town. Louis, the father of Melissa shoots down the entrance of the diner, looking for Shawn — both Irene and Kat try to explain the situation to no avail.

As part of the group breaks of to search, Irene stays behind at the "base" where Cooper the dog appears. She and Addy Rosales (Marie) are temporarily distracted by the Dog, but she remains partially wary of the dog. Addy is then lured out by Cooper, as per her suspicions, and kidnapped by men in white coats before driving off into a van. She goes into panic as she accepts she could not get her back on her own.

Klaus Rosales (Tom) comes in with his men later on. When later confronted with Klaus, she claims fault in the incident with Addy's kidnapping. She promises to help take her back. With rage and frustration fuelling her, she takes up guns and joins the search team with her dad to sniff around the local school. They manage to get back Addy, but at the price of Detective Charlie Justice's (Kadakism)'s life.

After their current safehouse is deemed unsecure, they are relocated to the Rosales Mansion, followed into the final infiltration to enemy base, but she is made to stay behind, watching the final show down from the radio room.

Upon introduction, Tucker establishes himself being aware of the conspiracies surrounding their suburban town as of late, admitting not being surprised by the events unfolding.

He joins the investigation teams, led by Detective Felix Verma (Poppy). Following after the rest of the group after they relocate to the Rosales Manor after realizing their current safehouse is no longer secure.

Tucker joins the last infiltration group as they charge into enemy base to square off with the final boss at the game's climax.

Newly arrived on the island, #3826 immerses herself with the local crowd and participates in the celebration of the Pirates' Feast. In her interaction, she is met with her target #3817. She fakes exchanging niceties with him but he picks up on her motives and storms out of the venue. She immediately follows after him for a confrontation.
​

Ildefons shows up to Lady Helena Campbell's New Years Celebration party but with ill intent on possibly taking a little piece of the treasure the host was about to unveil in the party. Security was unfortunately tight, but as soon as the prize was right there, he's easily put in a useless spot as all the guests powers are nullified — including his very own. He was among the few that had been brought to the infirmary away from the group after nearly collapsing on the spot.

Despite her personal reservations, Aisling accepts invitation to Lady Campbell's New Years Celebration. She stays off the spotlight for most of the event.
​

Taking a break from his non-stop study sessions, June goes out for a little getaway from all the stress of school, obviously wanting to make the most out of it. He meets a few interesting faces, and remembers not to forget to have a little fun along the way.
​

Adeloise sneaks off into the cozy mountain cottage for an overnight stay after convincing her ghost guardians to let her get a little adventure in the island. She meets a few faces, mainly a particular miss Versailles (Ghost) who had been hiding in the kitchen. She pries her for information, terribly confused and intrigued at whatever issue she's fussing about. Regardless, she tries to throw in some help.

Sick of orphanage woes, Valentine slips into the partying crowd. He tries to interact but to not much avail. He doesn't really get much from attenting the open house party — except free food. Oh. And catching a magic virus first degree. That too.
​

Sometime after winning the elections, Raphael thought himself it's completely worth it to celebrate. But his celebration wouldn't last long as soon as the virus kicks in later on.
​

Signed in as Toxis to rant about the virus. Nothing significantly plot changing.

Inky comes online, talking about visiting an abandoned site for the blog when he is confronted with one apparent police officer in chat, apparently having been previously linked to the recent murder mystery figure going by the same name. It made him nervous, and spoke of considering to change his handle after it was brought up though he was assured that he (and his blog) have been ruled out from the crimes.

Valentine joins in sniffing around the Quarantine after one of the victims brought it was apparently a set-up bomb, all while still fighting the effects of his fever and medications.
​

Vidi comes in and out the main room, generally wandering about looking for a conversation with as little people as possible. She attempts to join the family conversations but remains hesitant all throughout.

She eventually joins the escape along with the Rosales family after the rumored bombing in the quarantine. On exit, she pretends to be asleep for most of the trip, not willing to interact much with the family members.

Hal is confined in the quarantine along with many others, now unable to interact with others or take care of himself.
​

Forced by college peers to go into the opening of the new theme park, she eventually strays away and finds the main group, running into Eroshay Rosales (Foxy) and a few others.

She also runs into Vito Rosales (Poppy) whom she remembers as being one of her father figures back in the 50's VR, having actively avoided him since then. They have a short talk about finally joining the family and making some final arrangements.
