Zephri tilted his head, wondering what the younger girl was getting. As far as he was concerned it was fairly obvious what happened. Then again he was present when the treatment was being administered.

"She drank enough to close her wound. But it wasn't a lot. It couldn't have been much more than what I drank..." he frowned. "You'd have to drink a lot of water to turn to stone as fast as they all did... I only had like two handfuls if that says anything"

"So you're saying she probably just did that to herself on purpose, after you left?"

There was an accusatory edge to her words. Maybe Zephri could have done something different. Maybe Sylvi could have. Maybe they could have noticed - Andrasta had no idea what they could have noticed. But they must have been able to notice it. Or maybe Zephri didn't because he was such an airhead, and so this was his fault.

Or, maybe she'd drank more than he realized, or it went in through her neck wound or something. Or maybe they weren't even supposed to drink the stuff, just dip people in the weird fluid to heal them. Either of these things would make it Zephri or Sylvi's fault, or both of their fault.

Wouldn't it?

"Yeah, I guess that is exactly what I'm saying," he frowned. "How else do you get people hugging dragon faces in caves? She was super into Aez, couldn't you tell?"

His gaze went in the direction of the mountain. Zephri was still bitter about losing that bout. Sylvi seemed content to let it be as it was. And now he was getting the feeling that Andrasta was looking for someone to lay the blame on. He let out a growl.

"If that's how she wanted to go though, that's fine. Sometimes you're just wrong about people..." he muttered coldly.
