1_by_sayutb_de6xcth-pre.pngWolf's Den Gym had just opened and the reception they were getting had been amazing. During the day there was waves of people that would pack out equipment, and at night there was a steady stream of people that kept the staff busy.
Signing people up for memberships, giving free day passes, and assisting with equipment took up most of the staff's time, but as classes started up, those began to fill out as well. Clanging of weights, thudding of feet on the indoor overhead track, and conversation between trainer and trainee filled the air, only just drowned out by the steady pounding of upbeat music.
Taking a break for a moment, Tasha sat at the smoothie bar enjoying her own blended smoothie while watching the coming and going of people. She was making mental notes of the types of people coming in to try to cater classes specifically to the patrons. Even, on occasion, taking lead with a new guest to show them around to get a feel for what they needed.
Finishing up her smoothie, brown eyes glanced up and around for who she could introduce herself to next. Opening a new business, especially one with active guests such as this, required a very active and hands own approach. Luckily for Tasha, she enjoyed interacting with people.

Storm stepped into the gym, already in her workout clothes with a gym bag slung over her shoulder. While the gym at the school was nice, Storm felt a change of scenary could be good.

Plus, Adelyn was pestering her to go socialize more--and even threatening her with a blind date if she didn't. When did that kid get so bossy? But she wasn't wrong. Storm had been keeping to herself lately, focused on exercise, classes, more exercise, rinse and repeat. Plus, the bonfire was coming up soon and Storm always became more reserved around this time. Then December will come, and she will want nothing more than to just never leave her cottage again. Just like every year.

Storm absentmindedly rubbed the tips of her fingers over the two rings attached to the chain on her neck. She could already feel herself getting distracted by all the concerns and anxieties that pounded at the back of her skull.

She took a deep breathe and started looking around the gym, seeing what was available. The answer was 'a lot'. It was an impressive gym for sure. She just had to decide where to start now so she could focus on her body instead of her mind....

It wasn't a sight that had caught Tasha's attention at first, but a smell. The scent of another werewolf. Tasha's initial reaction was to retreat to her office and avoid them if she could, but she took a deep breath in through her nostrils and located Storm.
The breath severed to not only find the other werewolf but also calm Tasha down. 'You can't keep doing this,' was what she kept telling herself to get off the stool and walk over to the stranger who was now peering around the gym.
Ever the socialite, a smile came to Tasha's face naturally when she got near Storm. She was well built. Obviously took care of herself, much like Tasha did. Well, that would be an easy conversation starter if she needed it. Straightening out the tank top with the gym's logo on it, Tasha waved to Storm before speaking with a friendly helpful voice.
"Hey welcome to Wolf's Den. Anything I can help ya with?"

Storm, being so stuck in her own head, didn't notice Tasha at first. But when she did, she was kind of surprised. Which was stupid; the place was literally called the Wolf's Den. It's just, for a moment, she thought if they had the same hair, they could practically be twins.

Then again, Tasha was definitely taller than Storm. And had boobs. They were nice boobs.

Nope, nope, nope, she shook that thought out of her head.

"Ah, I was just looking around. There's a lot of ground to cover," she replied with a lopsided grin. God, get yourself together Storm.

"Are you the owner?"

Tasha laughed and nodded to Storm. It was a lot when someone first walked in for the first time. That was why Tasha insisted her staff be proactive in greeting people so they didn't feel overwhelmed by all the gym offered.

"Understanable. That I am." She clears her throat briefly. "Tasha Olcan."

There was a momentary tinge of fear that she might recognize her clan name, but that quickly subsided as Tasha stuck a hand out to greet her. Even if she did that had been so long ago.

"So what brings you in? Well besides thre obvious. Anything particular you looking for I can help you with Ms....."

The name did not ring a bell to Storm, fortunately for Tasha. If it wasn't her old clan in the narrow reality or the packs on the island, then she was oblivious. Her old clan was really good at not interacting with other werewolves...

"Storm," she replied as she took Tasha's hand to shake. "Storm Clarisse-Haywood. I was mostly just looking for a change of scenery, I suppose. I work at Starlight, and the phys ed faculties there are great, but...couldn't hurt to try something new." She gave a small lopsided grin. More like Adelyn insisted she go try something new, but details....

"Nice to meet you Storm. It's good to see the Starlight faculty coming out as well. The facilities there were actually a big light bulb for me starting this gym. I loved the idea of having somewhere people could go to really test and explore their powers and abilities without the fear of damaging things."
Oh dear. She was rambling. It wasn't even invited rambling, Tasha was answering questions that hadn't been asked. She quickly shook her head and let out a small chuckle before smiling back to Storm. Her raspy voice held a hint of amusement to it.
"I'm sorry. I get worked up. Let me get you set up with a guest pass for the day."
Bringing over a clipboard with a sheet to fill out with basic information, Tasha handed her a small card after it was all completed.

"All you gotta do is hold this card up to whatever equipment you want, speak the weight you want, and there ya go! We also have plenty of other amenities as well, but I can get to those later on if you are interested."
