Every place has rumors, and Manta Carlos is no different. This thread exists to help people get a feel for what kind of gossip their characters would be hearing. If something's going on in-character, and you think other characters would know about it, be sure to post here and let others know!

Rumor: There is mummerings that the honey Regina Jackel uses in her cooking are regurgitated from her mouth though there are whispers that the honey may in fact come out of her butt.

Rumor: Little kid from elementary school dorms Aluin was brought back to the dorms on early morning by the police. They don't know why or what he did, and now his dorm parent is keeping a strict eye on Aluin.
Who's Hearing It?: Any younger students or kids that live in the dorms.

Rumor: There's a story floating around that Aedes was extremely rude to a major benefactor of the school. Some say that she literally spat on him, others say that she called him a series of ethnic and/or homophobic slurs.

Note: Regina's mad at Aedes and is spreading this story to stir trouble for her. She thinks it's fairly believable, given the way Aedes has acted in the past.

Rumor: Penelope Pernicious is back. A person basically made of rumors, from being a dream stalking hit woman to being a greed fueled information broker working both the cops an the criminals, those who are aware of her aren't sure what to make of her sudden reappearance.
Who's Hearing It?: Criminals, mostly. But word is getting out as her business cards get around.

Rumor: Godfrey Broen, a culinary major at Starlight Academy, is just gone. He stopped going to class a few days ago, hasn't been seen even by his roommate.

Who's Hearing It?: Mostly his classmates and acquaintances. His closest friend, Jude, and his girlfriend Zoraida del Bosque know the truth: he left the island for an indefinite amount of time.

Rumor: Masami, the old guy at the food stall at Acinaces Arena. The one who always gripes about the fighting. He got himself set up for a match! Should be funny to watch him get slapped around for a bit.
