The full moon was finally here. His first full moon on Manta Carlos, and River was at his peak. He could almost feel his attraction aura working, but that might've been due to the fact that he'd been consistently drugging himself since he'd gotten into the forest. Probably not the best idea considering what the half-demon was up to, but it felt fantastic, and he didn't care.

He was glowing in the moonlight, shining bright, making no pretense of hiding. Not exactly a predator's move, but then he was bait tonight. He hadn't gone far into the forest. River had no wish to tire himself out fighting animals before he got to the main course. Not that he would really tire until morning, but there was still no reason to get himself too beaten up. He realized he'd probably regret his actions anyway, but he was way too wired to let that detail worry him. He wanted to feed now.

At first, he'd stuck to the woods, but it seemed the more dangerous creatures were further in. It was nearly dawn, and he hadn't seen any signs of the werewolves he'd heard resided here. But as he moved deeper into the dark, he thought he heard a howl. River grinned, all sharp teeth and claws. It seemed tonight was going to be fun after all.

Nathaniel was currently in his werewolf form, eight feet tall with golden fur, despite his large size and bright fur he was stealthy. Some werewolves go berserk during full moons, he just reverted to a more animal like mind, which included his stalking skills. So he'd hunt, kill and feast.

He'd picked up the scent sometime ago, but he'd taken his time at first, stalking, making sure he could pounce his prey. Animal or not, he was still a hunter and a masterful one. His eyes narrowed as he peered at his glowing prey through the brush, he'd come here hoping to avoid hurting anyone, he'd be very disappointed if he knew what was happening.

Then he pounced, his clawed hands and fangs ready to tear through flesh. He leapt toward his prey, using his enhanced wolf agility, he intended to bring the target down before he realized he was even there.

Wild and reckless from the full moon's draw. Euphoric and on high alert from effects of his venom. River was probably more out of control than the werewolf. As a moon demon, he was fully feeling "moon madness", quite an appropriate term. He was ready for a fight, expecting it, but as long as he got to feed, he didn't really care about getting damaged in the process.

The small half-demon could see clearly in the dark, though right now his other senses were only as good as a human's. He saw the looming, golden figure out of the corner of his eye and ducking, turned to meet it, claws ready and teeth bared.

River's agility matched the werewolf's, but even though he twisted to avoid being pinned, he didn't escape some long slashes from those wicked claws. He was already sweating, but that was just a side-effect of the drug in his system - he wasn't tired and he couldn't feel any pain at all. Throwing himself forward, the boy lashed out with his own talons. They may not have been sharp enough to slash through steel, but they could certainly slice flesh, and there was quite a lot of force behind them. The boy wasn't human and was much stronger than he looked.

Grinning wildly at the bloodlust in the air, River hissed out a laugh through his teeth. Then he lunged at the werewolf, biting and clawing, draining what energy he could. Finally, he could feed on something other than animals.

He felt the pain of his wounds, but also felt his own attacks hit their mark. Nathan's eyes glowed gold as he continued the offensive, slashing and biting at his opponent. The werewolf was full animal when the moon was full, his instincts in full control, the hunt and the prey dominated all else.

His claws slashed forward in a bloody x as he tried to pull his prey closer, his fangs snapping forward at his throat. Every action was done to bring him closer to his meal, to sink his fangs into flesh and bone.

As his attacks increased, his feet never stopped moving, he'd continue forward, trying to overtake him. His claws and fangs could tear through steel, so flesh would easy to rend.

It might not have been easily apparent, but River's smaller stature compared to the 8-foot tall werewolf could be worked to his advantage. The beast had a longer reach, and may or may not have surpassed him in strength, but the half-demon could negate that reach by moving in close. Which was exactly where the werewolf seemed to be trying to draw him.

And he was fearless, bold, diving forward and under most of the other's attacks. But even the ones that did get through didn't phase him - he felt no pain. Energetic, wild, with an impulsive lack of control, River was also being driven by hunger and wasn't about to tire anytime soon. He didn't hold back or move timidly, but he still dodged, ducking even lower so most of the clawing would hit his back and shoulders, and he'd avoid fangs being anywhere near his throat.

It didn't matter to River where his blows landed, which was probably fortunate for the werewolf considering that the half-demons claws could reach some sensitive areas, and had a superhuman strength behind them. As it was the shorter boy was mostly aiming for the legs with his claws. He could feed as long as he had his claws touching blood - he didn't need to tear off flesh or swallow, although he'd do that as well if he had the opportunity.

His prey was small and fast and didn't seem to care about the injuries he received, Nathan still felt pain, but his injuries healed fast. Unfortunate for River, they has forgotten to bring a bit of silver to help them in the fight, so instead of falling, Nathan continued forward.

His claws slashing, his fangs biting, he ignored the pain caused by the wounds, his predatory mind was focused on one thing, the kill. He'd found his prey, the stalking part of the hunt had ended some time ago, it was just taking longer to put the prey down than usual, this was something he need to fix.

Then his prey went for his legs, a growl escaped the wolf as he felt the pain. If his legs went, then he'd fall, then he'd be the prey and that's something he couldn't allow. So he turned his slashes downard, trying to dug his claws into his opponent, to tear flesh from bone.
