With a sigh, Pandora slammed her apartment door shut. She was running late, which was a rare occurrence for her but none the less she had found herself now running out of her apartment after what had seemed liked the longest 15minutes of her life to get ready. She had managed to braid her hair into a fishtail braid down her back, and put on a layer of foundation. Pandora had already decided to do the rest of her make up on the bus on the way to the pet store. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, Pandora made her way out of her apartment building, grateful for her comfortable clothes. She had pulled on her black and white striped skinny jeans with a baggy black top along with her boots
.
As she exited her apartment building, Pandora made sure to open up her black parasol, resting it on her shoulder. To some it seemed like an extreme measure to keep her skin pale but it was what worked for Pandora. She reached the bus stop within in minutes and it seemed like the next bus was due any moment. Pandora pulled out her headphones and her phone from her bag and placed the ear buds into her ears, selecting her favorite Nightwish album, having made sure her music was at a comfortable level, she dropped her phone back in her bag, looking up for a moment to see if the bus was there yet. Reaching back into her bag, she pulled out her purse and began counting out her bus fare, holding her parasol with one hand and her change with the other she dumped her purse back into her bag and sighed.
Eventually the bus did arrive, only a few minutes late but enough to cause Pandora to get nervous again. Signalling for the bus, she folded up her parasol carefully and stepped on, handing over her change and taking the ticket with a smile. She turned and headed for the seat in the back corner. Sitting back in her seat, Pandora relaxed as she soon started to feel the excitement bubble up within her as it was finally hitting her she was about to adopt a little feline friend as a companion. Peering out the window, Pandora watched the world go by, counting the stops til she got off.
The short distance Pandora traveled felt longer than the actual 20minutes it had taken her, somewhere in her rush she had made up her lost time, using those 20minutes to apply her heavy, thick eyeliner and black lipstick, she felt ready to take on the world. Peering out the window once more, Pandora hit the bell and stood up, making her way to the front of the bus to get off. It was only a short distance to the pet store from here and she could easily walk it. Taking a deep breath she stepped of the bus and opened up her parasol again, walking straight down the road. As she got closer, she could hear the various inside the shop causing her to smile.
Pandora folded her parasol up as she stepped inside the shop, walking straight over to the kittens and the items she would need for the special little bundle of fluff that would come home with her later. She fused over the kittens but found herself drawn to the calico kitten that was poking it's head out of a basket.
