It had been four days now. four days that Pan had been taking care of the nearly catatonic person known as Cat. Why? She wasn't sure. She had tried to eat her, tried to torture her, tried to make her uncomfortable, only to have her own heartache in the attempt. Deep down she had no desire to hurt this pink haired person. It was very confusing for the spider, so she had been keeping her here, in the old warehouse where she had used to live.

It wasn't uncomfortable. On the far side sat several offices, and Pandora had chosen one to act as a makeshift domicile for Cat. A large couch sat against the wall of the room, and several blankets, some made of silk had been brought in, along with pillows, books, and anything else the girl might have needed and or wanted. There were electricity and running water, and Pan would stop by every few hours to check on Cat. Sometimes bringing food, sometimes bringing more things. Always bringing confusion and wonder.

from what Pandora could learn, the Girls name was Cat. She had been engaged to Malara Inanna Tor, but the goddess had had a change of heart for some reason. Needless to say, Cat had not been taking it well. So perhaps this was a good thing for her. It gave her a chance to get away from things and to detox from a potentially bad scenario. Like a Mini forced vacation.

Funny thing was, Pan had not even been locking the doors. Cat could have left at any point. So, either she had not been clever enough to get away, or she just didn't care enough to, or she was taking her time to reflect. regardless, she was here again when Pan came back, this time carrying a bag full of food stuff.

"honey.. I'm home.' She announced as she skittered in through the door. The spider took a second to look around the office, and could plainly see that nothing had changed. "Well I can see you've been busy." She said placing her hands on her hips sarcastically.

The floor was cold. It was uncomfortable. It smelled. It was stained. There was nothing about this floor that was more appealing than the rest of the world, but it seemed to be the only thing Cat was able to think about without feeling intense heartache. Intense enough that she couldn't stand. A part of her was getting used to being the damsel in distress. Waiting for Kylar or Malara or Felix to rescue her. The newer part, that had signed up for a gunsmithing class of all things, screamed out in defiance. Somehow, the new part didn't feel so new.

Caring for guns, cleaning them, it made her feel like someone was still watching over her. It gave her the same piece of mind that designing perfumes did. It wasn't a powers thing. It was a piece of her past that wasn't showing up any other way. She thought that maybe it could help her reconnect with the blank spot in her memory, but there was still nothing.

The same nightmare that she'd had a year ago when she arrived on the island was back. Along with a mix of others. She wasn't sleeping well, or much, but whether that was because of the floor or the nightmares she wasn't sure. Cat didn't look 'okay', but she wasn't sick. As far as she knew she was immune to the virus going around. Malara wasn't. And Malara had lost all memory of ever having been on this planet. She was more likely to kill her human fiancee than to accept help. It hurt more than it should have. Malara was sick. Cat had no right to be upset about anything she did.

And yet, even the thought of returning to Malara's house made her chest burst into pain like she'd been shot with a small cannon ball.

It wasn't healthy. For either of them.

Cat had left her ring in Malara's dresser, hidden amongst the clothes. It would be safe there until she could go back. Until she had fixed her own problems and could help Malara with hers.

Small kink in her plans.

Pandora had taken Cat and brought her to a warehouse.

Cat wasn't sure why she was here. She didn't really remember it. The entire first day had been a bleak, and bleary mess that blended together into a mess like smeared paint. The past few days had all been like that. She wasn't sure how long it had been either. All the girl had been focussing on ever since her arrival had been the stained, filthy floor. She reacted like a ragdoll when the spider tossed her around and toyed with her, obediently ate what was put in front of her without actually tasting it.

Cat didn't know why she wasn't dead yet. Pandora had tried to eat her. She'd tried to snap bones. She'd tried tying her victim up. But it never lasted long. Cat didn't know what the spider was thinking. She didn't even really care. The spider was back with a bag of... Something. It didn't worry her what could be in it.

Pandora coughed a bit, covering her mouth with a spider silk kerchief before smiling and closing the door behind her. She wasted no time unpacking the bag of things she had brought. Instead of implements of torture as most might have come to expect it contained several purchased items, of both food and comfort. The first thing she grabbed was a container that contained some precooked meat cubes. They smelled very much like hickory and had a fine glaze to them. The type of meat was impossible to tell without actually asking, though Pandora would not hesitate to state that it was nothing fancy, just a few hunks of someone from her freezer. She also had a dish of rice and vegetables, that had been steamed up well. q\While she and her children rarely if ever ate such pointless foods, she was aware that other people often did. And it was good for them too.

"Still quiet eh? Ok well... I brought you dinner again." She watched Cat for a moment now, giving her the chance to say something, anything. The quiet and the stillness was unnerving. Sure she had wanted to eat the girl, had handed many threats, and curses and displays of fear. But in the end, she had not been able to act on her feelings for some reason. This person was different. Inedible for some reason.

"Kid.. I don't get what your deal is. If you don't want to be here you could leave. But you don't do that. You say nothing, you do nothing. I am completely beside myself here. I haven't done anything too badly that should have broken you... You have all your limbs, your health, warm place to sleep, I'm feeding you. Like what gives?" She had said all this before to no avail. Why she thought this time would be any different as another matter.

Pandora sighed as she skittered over to Cat, and settled on the floor in front of her placing the two dishes of food down with some cutlery.
