Klay was crouched in one of the tree's near the lake, watching the water. It was early dawn, and she loved the reflection of the sky against the water. Then agian, maybe it just reminded her of home.
Home.
There was that word again, filling her mind like an inflated ballon. She wondered what her sister was doing. Most liky reading one of those book she had gotten herself from the Attic. Klay chuckled. The Attic. What a place. It was more like a library, getting new books every day.
Her mind snapped back to the problem. Her problem. Full moon was tomorrow, and she knew it was going to be one of her worst transformations. She didn't like going Drow at all. She would need a cloak. With a hood.
She sighed as the orange sun rose slowly, leaning against the trunk and letting one leg hang off the branch she was on.
Pulling out a pencil and a pad of strange-looking paper, Klay started to sketch out a girl. A very unusual girl, with pointy ears and long hair. But a big smile, and bright eyes. Klay started to shade in the skin when she heard a twig snap and jumped to attention. The put her pencil away, but kept the pas in her hand, as if the picture would disappear if she returned it to her knapsack. She leaped into the shadows at the trunk, almost completely invisible.
((Long enough? XD))
