Klay was crouched in one of the tree's near the lake, watching the water. It was early dawn, and she loved the reflection of the sky against the water. Then agian, maybe it just reminded her of home.
Home.
There was that word again, filling her mind like an inflated ballon. She wondered what her sister was doing. Most liky reading one of those book she had gotten herself from the Attic. Klay chuckled. The Attic. What a place. It was more like a library, getting new books every day.
Her mind snapped back to the problem. Her problem. Full moon was tomorrow, and she knew it was going to be one of her worst transformations. She didn't like going Drow at all. She would need a cloak. With a hood.
She sighed as the orange sun rose slowly, leaning against the trunk and letting one leg hang off the branch she was on.
Pulling out a pencil and a pad of strange-looking paper, Klay started to sketch out a girl. A very unusual girl, with pointy ears and long hair. But a big smile, and bright eyes. Klay started to shade in the skin when she heard a twig snap and jumped to attention. The put her pencil away, but kept the pas in her hand, as if the picture would disappear if she returned it to her knapsack. She leaped into the shadows at the trunk, almost completely invisible.

"Ever get the feeling someone is watching you Sparky?" The tiny dragon looked up at Moonlight with big eyes, as if to say 'I'm watching you aren't I?' "Not you, I mean someone who you don't know is there. Anyways, heres the lake, where you wanted to be." Moonlight put the hamster sized dragon down on the sand. Sparky began burrowing around in the sand happily. "I love this time of day, everything seems... perfect."

Brielle wandered around the lake. A slight breeze blew her hair in her eyes. She didn't see the girl under the tree, nor the one talking to her pet dragon.

She was out here so early, because she could sleep. A book was in her hand, and she planned on being by herself to read.

She climbed up a tree, and her foot accidentally came in contact with something. On second glance, it was a person. "I am so sorry!" She said politely, and clambored up to the lowest branch.

Klay watched as the foot hit the other girl. Of course, she was a trained assassin, a licesned killer. No foot of a human would touch her. Her ears were part of the Drow in her. She heard the girl when she was a yard or five away. She still was in the shadows, but reappeared as she stepped out, the picture still half-shown. To bad she couldn't tell them to get lost, but her sister...
That was a story of another time. She wwouldn't bear to think about it... not now...

"huh?" Moonlight glanced around, "oh no its okay, you can stay he-" She saw the half figure, "Who are you?" she asked, slightly starteled. She walked towards the figure, Sparky was now back in her hands. "Who are you?" she asked again

Klay did not falter her step, nor dd she speak. Not that she didn't want to, but she couldn't. She had swore on all that she was, on everything she had, that she wouldn't speak until time came. And that time wasn't now. At least, she wouldn't know until she was able to remove her mask. Her hand tightened it, just to make sure it wouldn't fall off. That was the last thing she wanted. To have her mask off. Ugh.

"Answer me... Who are you?" Moonlight continued walking, a hint of fear showed in her voice. Sparky slithered up onto her shoulder. "Why won't you answer me?" she stared at the dark colored mask, wondering what secrets it may or may not of contained. Sparky continued tightening his grip nervously, as the two were linked with emotions.
