Jessie felt alone again. She has just heard the whole story a while ago and she was shaking for most of the time afterwards. James let out a small sigh: he too is scared, but he isn't showing this easily, plus he was prepared to take care of any trouble. He walked up to Jessie and tried to calm her down. "Hey, take it easy. I'm sure it'll be alright soon."
"ALRIGHT?" Jessie shouted. "The whole school is pratically dead and there are strange creatures trying to kill us and you think things will be alright?" She panted a lot and calmed down a bit, but she started to cry. "I-I'm sorry. I'm tired, scared and just woken up. I just... don't..." She didn't manage to finish herself before she broke down crying.
"Shh, take it easy." James said sympathetically, feeling like he's going to cry too just from seeing Jessie like this. "My name is James and I am going to protect you. I've brought along some weapons to take care of whatever creatures may be in here. C'mon"
And with that, James took Jessie's hand and they ran to the courtyard.
