Biography: Vinay was born to supernatural parents, though he lost them long before he realized the reality of the supernatural. When Vinay was about 5 years old, his parents had decided to move from India to London to escape prejudice in their own supernatural community. They ended up finding out that London was a bit more of a closed community than they had thought, unlike India where hospitality was pretty much everywhere. Shortly after they moved there, the three were the victims of a supernatural creature, though Vinny did not know it at the time. The creature snatched up his parents and dragged them out of sight. He managed to wrestle himself free of the creature and slip away from them, running off and yelling for anyone to help him but it was nighttime and no one believed the young child when no trace of either his parents nor the creature turned up. Fellow supernaturals investigated the scene later but by the time evidence had turned up that the attack had indeed happened, Vinny was already long gone.
Feeling lost and overwhelmed in an unknown place, Vinny made his escape. He lived on the streets for a long time, barely managing to scrounge by via stealing what he needed. Unknown to him, he managed to find the goodwill of a local supernatural entity, who, curious of the young child living alone on the streets, randomly provided for him and covered for him during his escapades. This entity did things such as distracting people that the child would rob and leaving small trinkets and food in plain sight where they could easily be taken. When Vinny slept, the entity guarded him against the elements and other dangers of the city.
He met a boy named Nathaniel when he was only 7 years old. A couple of months previous, he had found out that people liked his dancing, as oftentimes he would try to dance some of the dances he'd seen back in India in order to forget about the world for a time. So, he had begun practicing that. During one of these practice dances, he met this boy and his mother who lived nearby and were out on a walk together. They noticed his dancing and stopped to watch in curiosity. When he finished with his bow, they both clapped for him, Nate easily approaching and doing his best to become friends with Vinay. But he didn't trust anyone after what happened to his parents.
But the boy insistently kept finding him every day, riding his bike to do so. Vinay attempted to ignore him but eventually, Nate had bugged him enough where Vinay gave in and reluctantly became his friend, hanging out with him everywhere. Soon enough, time passed a lot faster than he had expected to have happened and he became close to Nate, somewhat dependant on him even. He learned a lot from him and changed a lot of his ways, including his stealing and his untrusting nature.
Though Vinny would never know it, it was through this benevolent entity that he met the teenage witch Jonathan, who was investigating its presence in the city. Both of the younger boys were really 'meh' about the entire thing. They didn't believe in anything he said but they played along because it was fun. That skepticism changed when Vinny hit puberty and started sprouting, of all things, a pair of cat ears and a cat tail as his normal human ears started to fade from sight. Because the changes were slow, he was at first able to conceal these with a good pair of earmuffs, some scarves, and other flowy clothing.
Then Nate's parents were killed when he was around 16 years old. When they came back home to the scene, Vinay was both infuriated as well as terrified. At first, he opted to do nothing but he began fearing that the man would come after Nate once they realized there was someone left behind. So, he began doing his own 'investigative' work which involved information from illegal street sources as anonymous tips by Vinay to the cops about the man who'd done it and convincing any witnesses to testify. Normally he would have opted for just killing the man but Nate wouldn't have liked that. So he took a more passive route to putting the bastard in jail and keeping him away from his friend.
It was during this time that Jonathan had withdrawn from them and dug deeper into his coven. With the free time since Nate was busy picking up the pieces at the bakery, Vinny took back to dancing again, this time using it to help Nate with his bakery. He would stand outside, attracting visitors to come and have some of the sweets within. He continued this for 8 long and happy years until Jonathan came back into their lives once more.

Nate and Vinay were suddenly transformed into a kid-shape and Vinay couldn't help but freak out. He yelled at Jonathan, trying to force him to change it back while Nate wasn't sure how to handle the situation. Finally, with Jon continuing to tell them he didn't know how to undo it, Vinay took Nate and ran off, telling him never to come and see them again. They closed shop and ran into the alleys, never to be found again... or so Vinay thought.
This was when they were approached by a scout from Manta Carlos. Vinay was once again skeptical of the entire thing but Nate managed to convince him to accept.

Personality Description:
- Polite - Vinay has very polite mannerisms when one first meets him. He speaks and acts like a gentleman, even if the words he uses aren't on par with eloquent speech.
- Extrovert - He is also very friendly, willing to walk up to just about anyone and greet them, no matter how intimidating they may look. Being an alley cat, he knows better than to abide by intimidating looks unless one wants to be walked all over for the rest of their existence. When someone is his friend, though, he is also energetic, always up for adventure and fun. Having lived on the streets, he doesn't really understand the concept of 'responsibilities' except for taking care of one's own self and their own.
- Supportive - When someone is feeling down or just not having a particularly good day, Vinny is always there to cheer them up, stranger or friend. He will always be encouraging and optimistic because, on the streets, one has to be unless they want an early death.
- Affectionate - When extremely close to someone, Vinay can be very affectionate. It's a side of him that comes and goes and usually consists of nuzzling, cuddling, purring and napping with the person. Of current, only one person has garnered this kind of attention from him.
- Intelligent - Despite having little to no education, Vinay is actually fairly intelligent. He picks up on things very quickly and only has to make one mistake before correcting it to what he should do.

- Klepto - Shinies. Vinay loves shinies. Being used to stealing to get what he wants and also being a Neko, his grubby hands like to reach for anything that he ends up liking, even if it belongs to someone or has a price tag. In this way, it acts like hypnotism and Vinay becomes capable of inputting actions for them to do in this state. Until he bows to them, they stay entranced by this charm until 5 minutes have passed. They will stand there and do nothing until the charm has dissipated if no influence is issued.
- Those with particularly strong awareness or who aren't particularly attracted to or like dancing (or for that matter, aren't attracted to his type of dance) can easily resist this enchantment. They must remain unaware that it is happening as well as actually enjoy his dancing.

- Bard Magic - Vinay's lineage is a long line of bards. However, due to his parents' early deaths, he never got taught the bardic ways of his family. So, as of now, these powers are dormant aside from what he already naturally does without thinking.
