Appearance Description: Uzziel is seen as a caucasian male, but only to those that are angels and are able to sneak a glimpse of him without his armor. To everyone else he is a hulking goliath standing at 6'2" and weighing at 210 lbs. His hair is a dark brown that trails down to his shoulders and he has baby blue eyes. His armor is heavily plated, the most plated areas having about three layers of iron. His helmet has multiple long strands of decorative blue ribbons, representing his postion of gatekeeper.
Personality Description: Uzziel is one of the dedicated types. When he has his mind on something he doesn't stop until he fails or achieves it, not in between. His postion as gatekeeper has given a fixed idea on the unholy. That they are not worthy of even getting near the gates of heaven or any other angels. He doesn't mind humans and often refers to them as 'child' no matter how old they are. Uzziel does not have much interaction with other angels becuase of his duty so he really stands on a neautral postion on them. He is often polite, asking before doing anything. He also avoids any personal desires as it is against the gatekeeper code and something angels don't do in general.
Powers:
Demonsbane-Uzziel's sword. It can be summoned and can be dissolved into light at any time Uzziel wants. It is a holy sword and there for is used to kill demons. Demonsbane can kill lesser demons, and by kill I mean kill. They cannot respawn in hell. They are dead. This ability does not work on higher tier demons like the children of the sins or the sins themselves. As demonsbane is a holy sword it cannot be used to harm mortals unless they are proven to be sinners and do not repent for their sins. It is functionally unbreakable by normal means, only a powerful demonic sword or another holy sword could break it.
Immortal- Since Uzziel is a angel if Uzziel's physical body is destroyed he is revived at the gates of heaven. This doesn't not work if he is slain by a strong demonic sword.
Wings-Uzziel can obviously fly with his angelic wings. The wings are retractable as well.
Biography:
Uzziel was a holy templar as a human. He was a brilliant swordsman and a dedicated follower of God. In his life he arrested sinners until they repented for their sins. If they refused they were beheaded by Uzziel himself. Uzziel rose the ranks of the templar untill he was a dedicated guardian of their temple, one of the highest honors a templar could receive. He protected the temple untill he died an unfortunate death during a rebellion in the city he was stationed. After death he became an angel, noted for his capablilites as a warrior he was assigned the duty of gatekeeper/guardian. During times of peace he was one of the few angels that had the final say if they were pure enough to become an angel and enter heaven or were unholy and would be cast down into hell. During times of war he guarded heaven from attacks from demons. Uzziel was later assigned a mission to live on Manta Carlos, one of the few places demons and angels lived in peace since their was a sudden jump in demonic population, so much it dwarfed the angelic population. Uzziel was quick to act, leaving heaven's gates to the other gatekeepers and headed for Manta Carlos. Where he received a job in the police force as an officer.
