Appearance Description:
Normally, Umbra has short brown hair, blue eyes, and a long black demonic tail. She normally wears purple/brown glasses. Her skin is fair, with a slight tan. When angered her hair stands on end and her eyes turn solid black.
Personality Description:
Umbra is an extrovert among introverts. She is strong willed, but quiet in a group of people she doesn’t know. Among friends, she is one of the most talkative. Though her ways seem darker then others, she is always optimistic, and seeks to protect the innocent. She holds wisdom beyond her years, due to having a rough childhood, but also because of this, she is slow to introduce herself to others, and even slower to trust.
Species Abilities:
Fire control: Can control and/or summon fire. As well as will it into many shapes. Though if wet, they are unable to use this power. Though fire itself spreads, only about 3 square feet can be controlled/summoned
Powers:
Umbra can extend three, razor sharp blades from between her knuckles on both hands. They always keep an edge. To use them she must keep her hands balled into fists. Any superheated weapon/Object is harmful to these blade, and can possible cut them off. She doesn’t have a healing factor, so her hands are constantly bandaged, thus the area’s between her knuckles are almost always sore.
Well Developed night-vision: She can see up to 25 feet in total darkness. But she is very sensitive to light. Her glasses are modified transition lenses(they’re alive.), so the switch instantly. Bright light itself is very painful to her eyes, she often avoids going outside during the day.
Biography:
As most demons are, Umbra was born in the Underworld. The first few years of her life were rather uneventful. Yet when she turned ten, her father became an alcoholic. While drunk he was abusive. After some time of dealing with it, Umbra began to leave the house when he came home drunk and explored the lands around her home city. At age fifteen, her mother died, a result of a particularly bad beating from the drunken Mr. Diabolus. Soon after her father died as well from a drunken accident. Umbra then left home to continue her passion, exploring. As well as to forget what had happened. On the way out of the underworld, She stumbled upon a pair of glasses, quite literally. She took them with her, and soon found they are no ordinary pair of glasses. Five years later, Umbra and Oculus would find themselves at Starlight Academy, and made themselves at home.
