Appearance Description: In terms of appearances on the surface, at least from a good distance away, Travis seems to be an average sixteen year old. He’s 5'9" and weighs a lot more than you’d expect and will probably squeeze out a couple more inches before he turns 18. His hair is black, short, and kept fairly decent. His first truly notable abnormal features are his emerald green eyes. They have a faint glow which intensify when he becomes angry. Another effect of this being, the whites of his eyes turn black. He also sports a set of fangs, claws, and pointed ears which he keeps covered by his hair. Not to appear “normal”, but because he hates it when the tips get cold. His physique is muscular, in fact there’s not an ounce of fat on him. His right arm sports an intricate tattoo that is actually a magic seal.
He’s typically seen wearing a graphic tee, and a pair of cargo pants/shorts. Outfits generally vary throughout the seasons. Summer wear leans more towards shorts and tees. Fall, and winter usually see long sleeves, sweatshirts, occasionally gloves and hats. Spring Travis prefers button up shirts worn over his tees.
Personality Description: Travis King is quiet, polite, very mature, and honest. Most people would say he’s a good kid who’s trying his best. He’s highly intelligent and perceptive, even if he seems oblivious to things happening around him. He’s easygoing and non-judgmental which allows him to make friends with almost anyone. He’s that person who you can tell anything to and he’ll try to help you as much as he can. With all that said, he has trouble with names, so some people get slapped with somewhat offensive(to them) nicknames. He may not seem like it but he’s also adventurous, highly adventurous. If something needs doing, even if it’s not within his comfort zone he’s often the first to volunteer if he’s not immediately asked. Not many people have seen him enraged. At most he gets frustrated over the small things that frustrate most average people. The only time you’ll see some sense of true anger is if you messed with someone he considers a friend, or bullies.

He can change into a full chimera or stop at the transformation's halfway mark. The transformation grants an increase to his physical abilities, a degree of invulnerability, and a fire breath.
(Weak) Pyromancy: Being a chimera and a witch's son he has a natural affinity to fire magic. Simple fireballs and maybe a stream of flame here and there are about all he can do.
Biography: Travis was born to Persephone King, a powerful witch who specialized in biomancy. As such she’s thoroughly inclined to attempt to create some new “ultimate life form”. And as such when Travis was born she waited a month before infusing him with materials to become a strong chimera. A claw from a Nemian lion, down feathers from a roc, one of Jormungand’s scales, and some goat demon blood was all it took fo the ritual. The intricate process proved successful and the young Travis King became her pride and joy (because just being her son wasn’t enough).
His childhood was rather rough, his human appearance was somewhat altered which caused him to be the target of bullying. That is until he transformed and attacked a classmate when he was 7 then the children simply became frightened of him. From that point on he was raised by his mother, cut off from the world. That is until his mother received a letter inviting him to a school for beings like himself.
