Timing is Everything

Hello!

I just have a few questions before I make an account and design a character.

How does time work here? Does time move faster than it does in the real world, or does time go by real life time (i.e. if it's Tuesday, April 2nd in real life, it's Tuesday, April 2nd IC)? Are there time skips?

I'd also appreciate if you could give me any other information about how time works here that don't fit into an answer to the questions.

It goes by real time, but it's mostly liquid time. It even says so in the FAQ. You can say this thing happened weeks ago or weeks in the future. There are even some threads set in the past. Really, we're in a sandbox, so we're not too strict about these things. o/

I realized your answers before I even asked, but for some reason it just wasn't sticking... But you guys answering it plainly made it click!
