Jason walked into the lounge with a smile. He wore black dress pants and a plain white shirt with a black jacket over it. Hey. What did they expect from me?
Going over to a chair in the corner, he grabbed a book off the table he passed, and sat.
Now to wait. He thought, flipping open the book ot a random page. But he didn't read. He was just marveling at how happy he was feeling. This is strange....i hope it isn't permanent...

His smile widened involentarily as he saw her walk towards him. Ok, this is officially strange... His smile went back to it's normal size and he internalyy sighed with relief. Meeting her in the miidle fo the room he said, 'Nice dress, I hope you don't mind that I didn't exactly go with the most formal attire tonight.' He gestured to his clothes and said, 'But I think I did alright.'

'Now why would I do that?' He said, with another smile. He stood up straight and extended his arm for her to take. 'Shall we go?'
