Things will be fine

Indeed, having Ebbie's entire swarm react all at once in a certain way meant it was important. She was extremely pleased that this was something he was interested in.

She might or might not have noticed the blushing but she definitely paid firm attention to his words, and what powerful ones they were. He wanted to make sure to obtain her input in the housing decision and he loved her. Loved her and wanted to progress their relationship further.

"I would very much enjoy living with you if we can find a suitable place Archer. Even if it means suffering through some house hunting," she laughed, and the butterflies fluttered along with her joyous voice.

She couldnt very well wrap around him too much more without unintentionally turning into a viney cocoon but she leaned in to kiss him with glamoured lips and comfortably lay with him in the grass.

"Maybe we can find a place with a large skylight in the ceiling," she smiled. But she also recalled her people's worries and agitation. It was hard for her to just relax and focus on enjoying the glorious sloth demon body pillow next to her. A couple butterflies lifted off to correspond with her distraction and flitted around above them.

Somewhere somewhat secluded, with plenty of natural elements and access to sunlight and/or moonlight. That was most important to her, and honestly kind of a fairly easy set of requirements to fulfill. It would be nice to call someplace their home. Or second home, since Ebbie couldnt just forsake her true home.

"You are correct," she sighed and nuzzled in closer against him. "I do not wish to see a misunderstanding lead to some type of incident between my people and the people here. And I would not wish to have to choose between them or you." The last part was much quieter. In truth such talk was dangerous if there were any prying ears. But if there were, they probably would have revealed themselves by now, right?

Ebbie laughed. It was not just the throaty laugh of a human, not really. It was more magical than that. Subtly different enough that many people might not be able out pick it out but those who knew spriggans like Ebbie would know it. True fae laughter. And she kissed him again as he relaxed within her green embrace. Her glamoured hands brushing casually against his cheek.

"I would not wish to ask you to take on that much work. It would be unfair and unreasonable. Besides, I much prefer the natural growth of plants with just a little bit of a guiding hand for where I live," she says as she lets the end of one of her vines brush against the rough edges of a few blades of grass.

"I do have to meet with some of the others later. If they decide to send more of us over they'll request that I help them settle in. If they decide I need protection...," she figured it wouldn't need to be said. If she was sent protection there would be others shadowing her. Privacy would be... more difficult. And the other option- her being recalled back, well she wasn't going to talk about that any more than was strictly necessary.

Ebbie was 70% sure Archer wouldn't accidentally piss off the others if they decided to intervene. But that was a bit of a large margin for disastrous results. The house hunting was an amusing thought though. The others would be unable to refuse.

She smiled at Archer again and nodded, sending a handful of butterflies to collide with his face. "We can certainly insist on house hunting. Much to their annoyance i'm sure. Just remember they might be just as devious in their maneuvering as you are in suggesting that," she laughed but there was a tinge of seriousness mixed in. The Spriggans were still Fae after all.

"On the bright side, I might spend more time without the glamour if there are others to keep watch."

Ebbie's butterflies, aside from the ones flitting about almost like early warning sentinels, mostly clustered on the both of them. Showing of course that her attention was mostly focused on them and their connection.

If she had any doubts about the idea of being in true form more, his reaction surely pushed them out of her head. She laughed pleasantly and pulled his face in for a long kiss. "We should make sure any place we pick has space for us both to be in our true forms. Your muscles make for a nice body to cling to while I sleep. Although that is true in both forms," she whispered as her glamoured hand ran up his arm to his chest. "Maybe a nice nap before it's time to check in with my people again?"
