"There's got to be somewhere I can go," Shurana mumbled to herself, "where I can be allown; away from the school, away from all the other girls who laugh at me." as she said this, she stumbled on a tree root, but quickly and quietly picked herself up.
It was 9:00 at night, and Shurana had gone out of the school with her flashlight to find a place where she could get away. It was very hard to see in the dark, and Shurana left pins in the trees so she could find her way back.
"But Seira's nice," she thought to herself. "She doesn't tease me, at least, in front of me." Shurana hoped with all her heart the Seira wasn't talking about her behind her back. But she couldn't get herself to believe it, anyway.
There was a foot step, and Shurana froze...
