Orion Intergalactic Announces New Safety Regulations
Following their acquisition of the Virtual Reality Simulations previously operated by Galactica Corp, Orion Intergalactic has announced sweeping changes to the simulations.

"They just weren't safe," one official was quoted as saying. "We looked at the interface, and how it was all working, and it just wasn't safe. If you died in the simulation, it was just like dying in real life, and that can have some serious effects on the human brain."

The simulations remain closed as Orion Intergalactic implements further changes. The simulation is expected to reopen later this month.

National Adoption Week To Happen in Oceanic Park
National Adoption Week is here, folks, and you know what that means! Oceanic Park will be filled to the brim with colorful banners, games, and shows. There is a small admissions fee of six dollars per adult and three per child, with all profit made to be split up between the orphanage homes involved.

Volunteers are encouraged to help make this dream happen, and everyone is urged to help fund new furniture, repairs, and toys for Manta Carlos' orphans.

The fair will be held from March 11th to March 18th, and Oceanic park will be primarily closed off for the function.

Interdimensional Creatures Returned Safely Home
Following the death of Doctor Deidrich Holmes earlier this month, the Manta Carlos Police today announced that they have successfully located the home dimension of the various creatures which invaded the Manta Carlos Islands.

It is now believed that Doctor Holmes possessed the power to absorb other supernatural beings, gaining their powers in the process. In order to escape the police this past June, he escaped into an alternate dimension, where he absorbed Jason Chang before returning in his place.

Contact has been established with the home dimension of Doctor Chang, and the Manta Carlos government is now in the process of returning each escaped creature to their home dimension.

The Manta Carlos Police Department is currently reinvestigating several missing person's cases to determine if Holmes was involved.

WED's Annual Weekend Camping Trip
As World Environment Day (WED, for short) approaches, members of Manta Carlos are rallied to get together on an annual camping trip that involves hiking, solitude from technology, and helping to clean up our local environment!

While officially the holiday takes place from March 29th to April 1st, the camping will take place from March 30th to April 1st, so get ready for long starry nights and tales by the campfire.

The Bright Arena Announces SFC 2018 Competition
Titan Steel returned from a two-year break to come back at full form for a spectacular four matches this Thursday and win the first of eight positions in the championship at the Supernatural Fight Championship 2018 qualifiers last night. It’s clear that all Steel’s skills were on display, as he fought to catch up with a rookie and fan favorite El Chupacabra in the final round, but managed to beat him with a bone-shattering elbow drop to the kneecap.

The 28-year old steel Steel, a veteran SFC fighter took the SFC cup in 2015 and defended the title in 2016, and seems to be on track to win again. El Chupacabra has vowed to be back in the ring as soon as he can, so we may see another matchup as Titan Steel defends his title, announced Bright Arena owner and SFC founder Alexandra Bright. The next night of SFC qualifiers takes place on March 8th.

Weather Forecast
This March will be cold, cloudy, and rainy so pack your umbrellas and heat charms. The sun will come out intermittently, but don't expect more than a week's worth of sunny days to break up the frigid temperature. The average perception is going to be twenty percent. Snowfall is being replaced with ice, so expect the snow to melt this month, but watch out for black ice.
