Public Notice: March Virus
A strain of the March Virus that caused a severe epidemic last year has been identified in several citizens on the island. City officials have been quoted as saying not to panic, a cure had been synthesized and is being distributed throughout the city.

If you are showing symptoms of illness, please report to the hospital and get a checkup.

Family Weekend
Head on Downtown June 15th through the 17th for a Family Weekend! With only a small admissions fee you're free to enjoy rides, entertainment, and refreshments. Orphans and their caretakers get in free with proper identification.

Identifying New Faces
The office of cultural affairs would like to remind citizens that newcomers to the island may not be aware of the vast number of cultural norms present on Manta Carlos. If you see someone who seems confused or uninformed, please call the cultural affairs helpline.

Weather Forecast
Summer is upon us, temperatures creeping up to the high 80's (and even entering the low 90's some days!), making this the perfect time to start hitting the beach. Expect frequent late-evening thunder with partial cloud coverage for the rest of this month while early mornings and late afternoons will show sunny skies with the occasional cloud here and there. No need for an umbrella though, as showers will be infrequent.
