A wide, shallow cave hidden from most, the hideaway was clearly something of importance to someone not all that long ago. A nearly hidden staircase cut into the side of a cliff near the ocean leads to another, more natural staircase in a crevice between two cliffs.
Inside the cave, the walls have clearly been damaged on purpose, perhaps to destroy some drawings or carvings on the stone. The sections of wall and floor that aren't damaged have been sanded so smooth that they almost shine in any light.
More recent additions to the cave are unnaturally large spider webs that cross along the upper walls and ceiling, as if a giant spider has taken up residence. But no evidence of such a creature can be found beyond the web.
