The Gilded Dragons
The Gilded Dragons are a secretive clan of ninjas whose main base of operations lies in a mirror universe to our own.
The Gilded Dragons train in the use of many weapons, both modern and ancient. They are just as likely to be seen using pistols, heavy machineguns, and sniper rifles as they are to be seen using katanas, shuriken and bows. They are also educated in the use of chi-magic, a type of magic that relies focusing both body and mind. One thing common amongst all their weapons however, is that they are all hand crafted and are usually intricately decorated. They do this so that they may better empower their weapons with their chi-magic, which relies on the relationship between weapon and weilder. This gives them an advantage over most of their foes.
One of the reasons the Gilded Dragons exist is to help keep a connection between our world and the mirror universe chi originates from, in the hopes that one day the use of chi-magic will be more widely used. In pursuit of this goal, they made contact with a peaceful race of demons that reside in this mirror universe. However, these demons were constantly under threat by another group of violent and warlike demons who terrorized and subjugated the lesser demons. Since this discovery, the Gilded Dragons have fought a secret war against these demons, unable to stand by such injustice.
In order to procure funds and resources, the Gilded Dragons outsource themselves as mercenaries, guardians and assassins to those they deem morally worthy, travelling the world taking on missions with secrecy and discretion. They often pose themselves as simple but effective hired guns and muscle, in order to hide their true nature.
The Gilded Dragons are lead by Master Dan Westwood.
The Gilded Dragons are very selective in their recruitment of new members, and choose those with a mix of combat ability and moral righteousness. They often recruit from areas of war and strife, but occasionally they will take in orphans and raise them into the clan that way.

Unbenownst to all but a few outside the clan, the Gilded Dragons are actually lead in spirit by Sensei Noboru Yuudai, and their base is the very same Yuudai Dojo the public knows of. It is not uncommon for them to recruit from the most promising students of the Dojo.
