The Friend Factor

Nielle was not a social butterfly. He was anything but, in fact. But he hated being a loner. Why would anyone not want someone to hang out with, at least once in awhile?

He wandered into the commonroom. Hopefully he could meet some people here that wouldn't think he was a loner.

He noticed the people in there, all talking or watching TV, or whatever else they needed to do. He felt like turning around and leaving.

Michelle walked into the room, she couldn't help but feel out of place since she was new and had only just gotten there today. She smiled friendly at everyone and sat down on a chair.

Oh, look, Nielle, (he thought in third person), she looks new. Why don't you go sit with her?

Nielle wandered over to the girl. "H-hi," he began. He meant to ask "Are you new?" but it came out as "Younu?"

"What?Oh yeah I am." Michelle didn't understand him at first. "I'm Michelle" She said smiling. Michelle was always friendly to others unlike her brother Tristin.

Fleur walked in and noticed to people that seemed friendly chatting in the corner, She told herself to go over and say hi, possibly make a friend. She forced herself to move toward them, she was trembling and was becoming terribly nervous but once she reached them she felt alittle better.. "Ello, All." She said with a thick french accent.

Michelle smiled when another girl walked over. "Hi, I'm Michelle. You new too?" She asked, Michelle was such a social butterfly and she loved making new friends as long as they weren't anything like Tristin.

Nielle nodded at her. "I'm Nielle. Are you from France or Quebec...? Your accent is so pr- thick." He wanted yo say 'pretty', but figured that wasn't exactly a great way to describle her accent.
