"The properties of the person in question are most likely protected by old Druidic runes, ancient symbols that are also nature and forest bound," Mathos informed Adryan almost reluctantly, the disdain was clear as resentment tinged his words.

Turning to look at Adryan, Tomas's slate gray gaze was now intense, cool, and held a hint of anger.

"The objects in question are a copy of Miss Del Bosque's personal agenda and client list, and ... a pendant. An antique lava cameo of an oak tree," he explained.

Adryan handed the paper with the details back to him. He had the details memorised and the less physical evidence he had on him the better. Details like this was the biggest bit that kept him in business. No loose ends because the only loose end was who hired him.

Adryan continued to pace listening intently. A hand came to his chin and rubbed it. The details of druidic runes varied widely. None of them should prevent him from getting in in one form or another but notifying its occupants someone was there could be an issue.

"Personal agenda more than likely means they'll have to be home. Those tend to stay with their owner. And don't tell me she wears this amulet regularly? Or is it something stored away?"

None of it would be an issue. Things just had a cost based on risk.

"No." Mathos replied sharply to Adryan's question about the cameo.

"It's an extremely valuable family heirloom. Ma--... She'd never wear it," Tomas explained, almost saying "my sister" but catching himself before he did.

"If I had to guess, i is probably safely hidden away somewhere in that oh so fancy beach house of hers," he remarked coolly as he tried to keep the sarcasm out of his voice.

"Then that's easy enough."

Adryan spoke very matter-of-factly as he was given the details. It honestly seemed straight forward with nothing to difficulty. The hardest part would be probing the wards for what they did and actually finding the items.

"Do you have a date that you absolutely must have the items by?"

Adryan raised an eyebrow to the man. He had already chosen to disregard the fumbling of words, but these items seemed rather mundane for someone of Adryan's skill. There had to be something else going on. But it wasn't a thief's job to worry about that. "Don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong and it won't get dirty...or broken."

"Yesterday would have been nice," Tomas smirked. "But since that is not really an option. As soon as possible," Tomas stated. "Like before next week's end," he said, counting the days between here and then. That would give him eight days or so to find the items and retrieve them.

As much as he wanted everything now, Tomas did realise that he could not expect something like this to be done overnight.

"Important detail... How do you want to be paid? Cash, foreign currency, offshore bank?" he asked.

A week. For what seemed to be a simple straight forward one, Adryan figured he could have the items before that. Getting jobs done early, unless they had to happen at a certain time, always went over well.

"I'll have it done in that time. Do you want it delivered somewhere particular or just wherever I feel safe handing it off?"

Payment was the other issue. This was the hardest thing for Adryan to deal with. Bank accounts meant he could be tracked. Paper currency was tricky when using and converting. His prefered method was precious stones and metals, even artifacts.

"I'd prefer certified gold or gems. Appraised artwork or artifacts are also acceptable. You know... harder to track than a bank account."

Adryan gave the man a wink and a slight smile. Business always helped him loosen up to a new associate.

Mathos thought about that. Usually, meetings and drop-offs were at his business or home, but at the moment, his business was still a work in progress and his home ... well, it was also undecided as of yet.

"Just .. call me when you have it ready," Tomas said as he almost reluctantly gave Adryan his number.

"Gold holds its value. Art, eh, maybe... we will see, " he stated, not sure he really wanted to trade or part with anything in the collection he had purposefully stowed away before he died... he had had a feeling back then that something might happen to him... and wanted a stash just in case he ever needed it.

Now, it was a stark and silent reminder of what could happen if he wasn't careful.

The series of numbers given was committed to memory as well. None of his associates was were in his phone, liability and all that. Adryan was as much concerned for the safety of his clients as he was for himself. People that get caught tend to talk. People that talk...well they were bad for business.

It seemed Mathos was debating on how he wanted to pay Adryan. He was about done with this conversation. He had some work to do and if Mathos really wanted the items as soon as he made it seem, he needed to get busy.

"How you pay me is up to you. Certified gold, certified gems, appraised art, or appraised artifacts. If you can prove to me the value from an outside source I'll likely take it."

After detailing out how he liked to be paid again, Adryan gave him the cost. It was high, but considering the quality, care, and his reputation, it was a fair price as well.

"Keep in mind, if I run into more issues that what we've discussed, the price will go up."

Mathos just nodded at the payment options offered. It was something to keep in mind.

"Money is not a problem," Tomas remarked, not too worried about the price - yet.

"You just get me what I require within the time allotted," he stated as he started walking off towards the brewery under construction - to him their meeting was, for now, concluded.
