The target this time was going to be a trickier one. Anita and Reia were both rather simple, especially Reia because of her species and overall mortality, but this child was different. He was more eldritch in the way, that he had a nature that he followed whether he wanted to or not. And that nature was fear. Fear towards anything and everything at all times. Zizi thought it was amusing, of course she did, and she had had a lot of fun tailing this child and watch him be terrified of everything. It didn't get old.
But it was about time Zizi made contact. And it had to be very carefully calculated and planned, the goal this time around wasn't to gain the child's affection. No, Zizi merely wanted to make her presence known, and make her presence as tolerable for the child as possible. He most probably would not say anything to big boy, this child was very timid and even talking was scary to him.
Yes, it really was incredibly entertaining.

All this required was a well-placed rock in the middle of the walkway. Zizi had noticed, that the child was sharp, and had probably noticed that someone was watching him. But that also meant he was distracted, and instead of always looking at the ground he would be looking elsewhere.
All Zizi had to do was wait out of sight, and appear on the scene just at the right moment.

The right moment arrived quicker than Zizi though, perhaps the child was in a hurry this time around. After all, it was scary when someone was following you(lol). From her hiding spot Zizi saw the child step on the stone and fall down instantly, just as planned. Zizi smirked slyly, and came out from her hiding place, slowly heading towards the child as if she had just been walking and minding her own business. She pretended to notice the child fallen down, and hurried over, slowly moving into his field of vision, worried expression on her face.
"You alright there, little one? Where does it hurt?"
Zizi kept her voice quiet and steady, as not scary as possible. Looking at this child's soul she could see resemblance to big boy in how it looked, that was so fascinating and strange.

Aluin had had a scary feeling during these last few days. Like someone was watching him. Aluin's senses were always at their peak, so he was good at sensing danger, and he had a lot of gut feelings. This gut feeling felt like something sticky had latched itself onto Aluin and wouldn't let go. It was really scary, and as Aluin slowly and carefully walked across campus he looked around himself. Where was the scary thing? Right now the scary feeling wasn't there as strongly, but Aluin was still scared. He was always scared.

But all the looking around made it that Aluin didn't look at his feet, and thus didn't see the rock. And when Aluin stepped on that rock he very quickly slipped and fell down on the ground. Aluin scratched his cheek and hand, and the sudden pain and feeling the ground beneath his cheek and hands made him cry silent tears almost instantly.

Aluin didn't move, he was scared to move, and just cried silently in the middle of the walkway. But it didn't take long for someone to notice him, and a lady appeared in front of Aluin's eyes. She looked scary, like most people did, and when she spoke her voice was...not as scary as it could've been. But still scary, and as Aluin sniffed and looked at this lady he got that scary feeling again.
The lady had asked a question, but Aluin was too scared to answer, and just shook his head a bit and kept crying silently.

Zizi had taken into account the fact that Aluin might not be able to answer out of fear, actually it had been the most likely thing to happen. So Zizi had the next step planned. She tried to smile gently and in a calming manner and rummaged in her bag a big. She pulled out paper napkins, her information said that Aluin liked those(for whatever reason). She carefully pressed one of them against Aluin's scraped cheek, it wouldn't do anything for the wound but at least it might help the child calm down.
"It's alright, little one, you're safe. See? Nothing to be scared of."
But Zizi knew that for Aluin there was everything to be scared of. But to say that was normal when encountering a crying child, and Zizi didn't want to be too clear about knowing more than she should.

Aluin was prepared to lay here until someone contacted Alt dad and had him pick him up. That was usually what the teachers that knew Aluin ended up doing if he got too scared. But instead of calling for help this lady pulled out paper napkins and pressed one against Aluin's cheek. Aluin stared at the lady for a moment, out of shock and fear and surprise, but the feeling on the soft napkin against his cheek instead of the hard ground was less scary, and the tears flowing from Aluin's eyes lessened a bit.
"Everything is scary..."
Aluin said quietly, his voice shivering a bit, and he sniffled some more. But he was feeling just a bit better, and he slowly and carefully sat up, still crying because his hands were hurting still.
