It was an average day at the Arlnest manor. Elizabeth was quite happy with how things were turning out for her and her cousins. Between the demon and alien maids and time manipulating gardener, the place was starting to feel a bit more alive. Christmas was coming, and she was sure to let her three workers know they would have vacation time and a little bonus. She even obtained a greenhouse in the backyard for Victor. Yeah, she may be seen as spoiling them, but if she makes them comfortable, they might stay longer. For now, as they cleaned, Elizabeth sat at her piano, playing Beethoven's moonlight Sonata.

Rowan was enjoying the snow, and making sure he did to the fullest. His home was pretty far south, and never had a lot of snow. So, he was going to go and make a snowman. He was out in the backyard, rolling up the base of the snowman and humming to himself.

And Hazel was locked up in her room. Well, it wasn't locked but she was held up in there. It had been a few days since the Christmas ball and she threw herself back into commissions. Her room was basically a studio, with a dresser and bed in the corner. The rest was filled with bases for different sizes and clothes. She was also dressed in casual clothing, which just consisted of a shirt that go to her waist with her bloomers showing slightly. But right now she was under a big skirt. She was sowing on skills on the end of it.

Haru was hard at work for her new occupation. Thanks to the generosity of the Arlnest family she was able to acquire a job while she was visiting earth. Cleaning wasnt normally her forte as she spent most of her time on the farm getting messy but she always had a good knack for cleanliness which was why her house remained spotless. The manor itself was pretty large which was why she was accompanied by several other maids. Currently Haru was dusting and washing over the dining area, It was extravagant and more than Haru was used to seeing on this island. The table matched the room and the atmosphere screamed "nobility".

Haru was dressed in a simple suit and tie nothing too flashy that would draw attention but still looked proper. Granted she was a women and her chest made it hard to not draw some attention but nevertheless she refused to wear the earth peoples version of female servant garments. With a quick adjustment of her tie she lifter up the large table with one hand and checked under it to see if she had missed anywhere. As to be expected it was clean and she was just worrying herself to much. She was adamant on making sure everything was clean becuase the money she was making here was sizable enough that she could buy some pretty nice gifts for her friends on this holiday called Christmas.

It was going to be her first and she had many ideas on what to get people. A special gift had to go to Adelyn as she was a precious child who deserved only the best, and then there was storm who just needed some friend time. Haru felt at peace while she traveled the manner to her next location. It was the bedrooms where she knew Elizabeth was intensely doing something she had not been down for awhile and Haru began o worry if she should check on her....or at least get her a juice box. Taking the last step up the staircase she walked down. the hall opening the windows to let some light onto the floor.

Hazel scooted out from under the dress when she heard someone from the hall. Listening closely, Elizabeth was still playing on her piano. So, guess she wasn't going to see who was in the hall. Well, Hazel didn't either, but she was curious and wanted to see.

Walking over, Hazel poked her head out of the door and saw Haru. Yeah, made sense it would be here. Rowan walks a bit quieter and Pandora has that distinct skitter. She waved to Haru a little, then quickly retreated back into her room. There was still more work to do, gotta keep herself busy.

Outside, Victor was shoveling snow, it was hard, cold and tiring. but he was happy.

This was the first time he had ever seen snow. In Australia, winter was just raining and December was in summer, so the prospect of a white Christmas appealed to him.

Looking up, he saw in one of the windows - upstairs hallway?- he saw Haru, another of the Arlnest household's new servants, opening a window. He waved, certain that even with his heavy winter clothing, that she would recognize him.

Basking in the light for a bit Haru admired the winter wonderland outside. Cold season were not a common occurrence on her farm back home and as such sights like this were not easily found. A slight movement t caught her eye when she saw Victor waving up at her. She hadn't had the pleasure of actually getting to know him but she admired his work ethic. With a small smile and wave she nodded herself around looking at the rooms on this floor.

Like a meerkat Hazel popped her little head out of her room giving a greeting also. Before Haru even had a chance to return the greeting Hazel was shut back in her room. Whatever she was working on must've been important. Part of Haru wanted to investigate but it was bad form for a maid to pry so deeply into her employers affairs unless asked.

With a mellow tune coming from the Piano Haru went about her work on the floor cleaning rooms and adjusting furniture so that everything was perfect. Elizabeth was quite the skilled player and having a tune to work to made her calm and more precise in her work. With a pat of a pillow she finished the room next to Hazel's. -Knock! Knock! Knock!- She gave three knocks on the door to announce her presence to Hazel hoping the girl wasnt to caught up in her project she would allow her in.

Rowan sneaked around, looking toward the front. Yes! He knew that Victor was there, shoveling the front walkway. It was the perfect time to strike. As Haru left the window, Rowan dashed forward. Victor may have seen him, but, would he be able to react the the 3 snowballs coming his way? @Griffon

Haru knocking? Probably just needed to get some laundry or something. "One second." Throwing off her shirt, she slipped on a cleaner shirt, one that would go down to her knees. Just something a bit more suited too be seen in. It was pretty good timing, as she just finished the frills. Just needed to finish a few pockets.... Anyway, she opened the door for Haru, welcoming her in. @Lich King
