Hazel sighed, shivers going down her spine. She really didn’t want to be here, but it had to be done. Her family...Well, they wouldn’t want her to do this, but it was time to get answers. And revenge. Which was her main priority here. It was finally time to confront Mark, take his goddamn life once and for all.

This trip started when she during a cookout on the beach. She got word from her family, the war was over. Unfortunately, she got the message from a butler. “Agatha, you are the sole heir to the Arlnest family…” With a single image.

Mark. Standing in front of her house. Her old house….With the head of Elizabeth in hand, and Rowan’s favorite bow over his shoulder. She was filled with rage that night, tearing dresses apart. After a bit of thought, she decided it was time. Fuck school, fuck the consequences. She was going to kill Mark or die trying. End it once and for all.

Haru wouldn’t know though. Well, not right away. She would leave a note for Haru, explaining what happened to her family and what she was going to do. Also, Hazel was able to buy enough materials to teleport to her home. So now she didn’t have to worry about being followed or stopped. Assuming she lived through all of this, Haru will probably kill her. But, she was a disappointment, or at least the cause to her family dyeing.

But here she was, in the living room. She can still see all of her dead maids. The butlers spewed on the walls of this once wonderful manor. It was all cleaned up by now, but it was dusty. Everything was covered in filth, except for the boy, standing and tapping his eye patch.

“Hello Agatha. Let’s end this.”

Her body felt cold, like all of her magic in her betrayed it’s user. Guess it really was time. He killed her parents, she stabbed his eye, and he helped wipe out her family. Now, it was was round 3. 2 if you didn’t include the first one, it really wasn’t much of a fight anyway…

Mark flew, gunning toward Hazel dagger first. Well, no time for further talk. Hazel lept to the side, launching an ice fist at Mark’s gut. However, he was prepared. He deflected it, landing on the area behind Hazel. Hazel launched another fist at his face, which he dodged swiftly. He threw his dagger, pulling a second one out.

Hazel was not prepared, getting stabbed in the leg. The same fucking leg as usual. It felt weird, though. She could feel her body getting heavier already…. Poison? Probably. Gonna have to end this fast. Hazel was then punched, square in the face.

Her body twirled, any command her brain sent was being ignored as everything was lurching into panic mode. She sent another ice fist, but it missed badly. Mark then tackled her, easily pinning her to the ground.

Hazel struggled, feeling quite fatigued. The poison, it was working too fast. Her leg was burning, and her temperature was skyrocketing, she just knew it. Mark sat there, smirking. “Well, let’s see how well you see now!”

He brought his second dagger down, stabbing at Hazel. Fortunately, it wasn’t poisonous. However, it was hard to appreciate that as Hazel’s right eye was now nothing but steel. She screamed struggling a lot more. She can’t die, she WON’T die.

An ice hand appeared, smacking the side of Mark’s face, he flew sideways, landing a few feet away. Now was the time, time for Hazel to end it. Two ice hands grabbed his arms, lifting him up. Holding him there. Glass scratched her face as she got up, probably from her glasses.

Time to end it. Need to end it, for her parents, her family… Hazel limped over, pulling the dagger out of her eye. Now was it, to end it. She touched her face, making an ice patch over the whole. How dare he, make him pay. He was begging, pleading for her to spare the bastard. No mercy, do it Agatha! She lifted the dagger, stabbing his forehead. End it quickly. He was an enemy, but no need for him to suffer. Just end it….

It was done. Mark was dead. Was his family still alive, she didn’t know. All that mattered was she stood over him. His grave will be here, where her parents fell. She limped outside, turning to face her old home. Tears flooded down her face, and Hazel threw a flask of alchemist fire. The manor was set ablaze, with fire consuming it instantly.

She was gonna turn around and walk away, all bad ass, except she fell over. Oh, right, the poison! The adrenaline made her forget! Fast acting, but maybe….Pulling up her skirt, the arteries around her leg ended at her upper thigh. She panicked, trying to think of a way to save her leg. However, succumbed to her weariness just a few seconds later.

Hazel awoke 15 hours later. She was taken in by another family of mages who happened to be friends with the Arlnest. They patched Hazel up as best they could. Hazel’s eyesight should be at her normal in about a year. However, the poisoned was designed to actively work against magic. In order to save her, they had to amputate her leg. As far as they were all aware, Hazel would need some divine magic to heal her stub. From now on, she was a one leg girl.

With a warm breakfast, Hazel was teleported back, going to confront the people at home who will give her shit.
