Vachal waited under some shadows of a hall that was partially outside leading into the courtyard, watching the sun as it started to set, once its light weren't as bad, he walked out into the open place, stretching as he felt the night slowly close around him. So much better then dealing with the sunlight. He lifted his hand where he had accidentally cut himself earlier, and though he was a vampire and he regenerated quick, it never fully healed, but now he watched it close up, not even leaving a scar, thankfully.
Val wandered around the courtyard, he found a nice looking tree, went over to it and leaned back, and slowly sat down with his back against the small tree, pulling out a pack of cards from his pocket and started shuffling them, the only sound was of the cards hitting each other softly. He liked shuffling cards, it almost seemed addictive when one was bored, though, he shouldn't even feel bored as a "child of the night" as other like to put it, which seemed like a stupid calling to him.
He felt hungry, he hadn't had fresh blood in forever it felt, but he knew not to take blood from students, even though he has, just not exactly on campus. He looked up a little, as he heard something, the steady sound of a human heart beating, but didn't pay much attention.
