Headline: Former DCA Students Pay Homage During Starlight Academy Graduation
Story: Graduating students who hailed from Dark Crystal Academy and got transfered to Starlight Academy wore a band on their left shoulder bearing Dark Crystal's insignia as they attended the ceremony. Lewis Ybasan, a former student of DCA himself, had the honor of speaking on behalf of his fellow transferees. In his speech, he thanked Starlight for taking them in, especially those who had no other resource, namely the accidentally abandoned and forgotten, and giving them a place to live and continue their education.
For those who were unaware, the people who were in DCA when it was taken out of our reality were also taken out of the memory of anyone who knew them. Only those who were on the island when DCA reemerged remembered the individuals. Because of this, many students had ended up being orphaned because their families couldn't be traced, or their families were normal people unaware of the supernatural, in which case the Veil agents couldn't find a way to safely reintroduce them.
As Lewis expressed his gratitude, the graduates from DCA went up the stage, and together as a goodbye to their old school and their new, sang a heartfelt song taking elements of both schools' anthems. Tears of gratitude fell from many of the singers and by the end of it, everyone in attendance gave a standing ovation.
