StarlightChat

StarlightChat is a special ICC event that takes place in a chat box at an online public server. This works a bit differently than our other ICC events, considering none of it would be happening on meatspace. Treat StarlightChat much like our regular cbox, but with our characters. StarlightChat is ran by the city government, so there are certain rules to be followed. People are free to use usernames or their real names. Their identities will be kept hidden from others. IP tracking and hacking are strictly forbidden. The contents of the chat would be archived somewhere public where everybody could access.

Names:

You can use your character's name or a special online username. To use a username, put the username in the name field and their profile in the URL field. For example: "Felicisluminae" instead of "Felix Verma." Be sure to link your profile instead of an icon.

Alternatively, characters can have it be "username (real name)" + icon.

Characters can go anon online, but there needs to be some way for people to recognize it's them OOC.

Modes:

Text would be default, but you're free to use Audio and Video. Start your message with [ audio ] or [ video ] to indicate you're doing this.

• Keep it PG-13.
• No excessive cursing, slurs or hate talk. Discussions are fine.
• No roleplaying.
• No excessive advertising.
• No anti-government talk. This is, after all, a government server.
