Standing Around

Emma was standing near the edge of the lake hoping someone would come by.


Someone did. Matt was walking down the side of the lake and saw Emma. He had a little crush on Emma and had come to ask her out. He walked up to her and said "Hi Emma" Emma turned around and smiled at Matt. He was a very nice person indeed. "Hey Matt," she said "Whats up?" Matt wasn't the kind of person to beat around the bush so he got straight to the point " I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a date on Saturday?" Emma was a little shocked but said "Yeah sure!" "Okay then I'll pick you up around eight?" Matt asked "Yeah sound great!"

As Matt walked away Emma thought "Wow... my first date!"

Skye, who had heard the whole thing(she sometimes flew over people to hear their conversations...she knew it was a bad habit, but this time she heard it by mistake). She flew down to Emma. "Congrats, Emma!" she said to her friend, and giggled.

Emma sat there stunned "Wow... my first date... I-I-I-I didn't expect that." she said still in shock.
