As she sat in the now quiet staff room, Celeste Forestier, the Home Economics teacher, looked over her schedule for the semester. She scanned it to see if there was anything out of the ordinary. She knew the schedule was still pending, changes could be made, students added, classes moved - it was still early days and classes had not quite started - at least for the students. However, for the teachers, that was another matter. Things needed to be sorted, classes assigned, seating charts made, classroom assignments needed to be written up, all this and more before classes could even start.
Getting up from the table, Celeste went over to the small kitchen area and helped herself to a fresh cup of coffee, taking a moment to check the fridge and cupboards to see if she needed to bring any supplies from her own classroom to stock the staffroom kitchen.
