Aurix and Aurilia had both been sitting down outside of a restaurant enjoying some lunch, they were both wearing the relatively same attire, just one was a skirt and the other were pants.
"Hey Sis, hows lunch?" Aurix had asked, like he needed to. He could sense already what she was thinking, but decided to ask regardless, it was nice hearing their voices and not just thoughts after a while.
"Not bad, I preferred the cooking we do at home, but this is nice to go out once in a while."
They both nodded in agreement, though both shared the same soul and powers, so they always knew what the other was thinking, but found it nice to talk to each other and not with each other. They were enjoy small talk about the day, how classes were going.
Aurilia had better hand writing and could write faster and Aurix just passed off information she missed. So it worked out sharing a mind. Eventually they finished lunch and payed for it. They walked out the front door as they both looked around and shrugged.
"Well, where to now Sis?" Aurix said looking up and down the street, they wanted to try and get to know the island better so they were aimlessly walking and ended up nowhere. This wasn't going to be a good day for them in general. They were used to go out on excursions into the great unknown that a city wasn't natural to them like others.
"Who knows, this place isn't like some of the other places. Shouldn't we just go back to the school?"
They both gave it some thought and decided that it was a bad idea, the sun was still out so they can still make a good day about it.
