He didn't even realize what Nikki was feeling, his empathy powers unable to pick up on them, too drowned out by his own emotions. When Nikki mentioned going, all he could do was solemnly, defeatedly nod.
What could he say?

He sat there as Nikkolai ran off, dejected. He curled into a ball, placing his head between his knees and on top of his arms. Much as he tried not to, he could feel the tears slowly beginning to stream down his face...
But there were no sobs.
For who knows how long, he was just fine with sitting there, silently sobbing, questioning why he had to be such a fool. If he never moved again, if the world could just end right now... Well, he'd be fine with that. At least it would match how he felt a little.
