Aluin wasn't that excited for this movie, and far from ready for it. But he was never really ready for anything, so he didn't say anything, just sat there quietly, nibbling on banana. The others seemed pretty excited, it was scary but at the same time Aluin was a bit happy they were excited to watch the movie. Even though he didn't understand why. There were lions in it, which was scary in itself, but they also had big eyes and moving mouths, which was even more scary.
Aluin nudged the blanket on himself so it now covered him up to knees, and nodded along when Arjean asked if the movie was going to be loud. Loud was scary. Silence was scary too, but quiet, soft noises were least scary.
Fulger shifted and scooted until he was practically in his own blanket cocoon there on the couch. With one arm just free enough to scoop up more popcorn to munch on.
"Um it's a cartoon with animals that talk and sing and stuff," Fulger answered Junchi as he looked between all three of them. He happened to like it, though he couldn't watch several portions of the movie because they were a little unpleasant to him. Mostly when bugs were being eaten and the stampede scene. Hearing Arjean's question, with a nod of agreement from Aluin, he looked back over at them to offer, "we don't need to have it loud. You can hold the remote to do the volume if you want."
Arjean immediately perked up at the description of the movie? "I love animals! And singing. So, um... the sound's okay. If it's loud, I'll tell. I want to learn all the songs." They got themself comfortable on the floor with Junchi and watched the screen excitedly. Once in a while, they would readjust themself, too fidgety to stay in place.
Fulger watched the movie from his blanket cocoon up on the sofa. His big green eyes widely peering out at the colorful animals singing and running around. Munching on popcorn as the movie went on.
For the most part the movie went well. He liked the Disney animated movies a lot and he was actually really happy to have his brother-friend Junchi, and the other kids, there with him. IT was fun. Except for when Simba found his father after the stampede- which Fulger openly cried about and buried his face in his blanket.
And then when the group was gorging on bugs. Fulger couldn't watch that either and buried himself in his cocoon. Small zapping sounds could be heard as he distracted himself by feeding on a couple batteries.
