"You'll never know what I feel, sweet love of mine," Fe sang softly at first, her voice building ever so slowly, lilting and melodic as she moved slowly with the music. Her voice was rich and full of emotion as she sang a little-known but beautiful French ballad about unrequited love. Once finished her first set, she bowed a little to her audience, replaced her mike and decided then to get some fresh air.

Exiting out to the alley through the back door, Fe propped open the heavy security door and leant up against it in her skin-tight jeans and red flowy lace top. There she relaxed, sighed impatiently and took a long sip of her lemon drink. Suddenly, she heard the voice of a male singer from somewhere close by. Curious, Fe decided to check it out.

Graham had been roaming between a number of different playing spots this evening, but was unable to draw a significant crowd until about ten minutes ago, when he settled a block away from Fe's venue. He wasn't quite sure where these people all came from, but the spirit wasn't going to complain. He was singing a lowkey, melancholy tune, as had been his standard for the past week or so.

Graham's voice was strikingly soft and gentle in comparison to his large stature, a floaty, almost ethereal tenor. His current song was in Gaelic, and while the crowd likely didn't understand a word of it, his guitar case was steadily filling with coins and bills. When Fe rounded the corner and came into his sightline, he glanced over at her before getting back to playing, clearly focused.

Listening to Graham sing for a moment, Fe began to notice the small crowd building around him. A crowd which made Fe frown disapprovingly and shoot the street performer a very scathing look. She was annoyed that potentially paying customers were milling around outside while they could be inside buying drinks and listening to her sing.

Deciding to wait til he finished his song, and not make a huge scene, Fe placed her hands on hips and started tapping her high heeled foot impatiently.

Of course, the spirit noticed the rather annoyed looking young woman watching him, and he only momentarily returned her gaze before continuing his song. Despite her frustration with him, Fe wouldn't be able to deny that he clearly had a lot of experience, employing lots of different subtle techniques unlikely to be picked up on except by other skilled vocalists.

Once he finished up, the crowd gave him a small round of applause, and the singer set his guitar back in the case before closing it. Graham hesitated for a moment, but with Fe still there and still irritated, he decided to get up and approach her, standing up to a height that may have been surprising after seeing him sit down. "Is there...hm. Can I help you?"

When the crowd applauded the young man, Fe's frown turned to one of downright annoyance and she found herself mentally cursing the crowd - for being a bunch of cheapskates throwing quarters and maybe the odd one dollar or two coin at the young man; and at the young man for basically whoring himself on a street corner for a few measly coins (not to mention, that if he wasn't there singing, maybe some of the so-called cheapskates may have actually come inside to listen to her sing instead.).

Looking him over slowly, her gaze running the length him, and only slightly taken back by his size, Fe cocked an eyebrow, "Help me? I think not," she remarked coolly, "Although, you can tell why you think it's okay to be playing on the street. Do you even have a license?" she demanded.

(Sorry Fe is not nice. )
