Appearance Description:
Shoe is around 5'4" in height, not being the tallest of much of anyone. Her hair jet black in color is something she keeps cut short in a almost boyish style.
She is lithe in terms of body, even though her species sports the ability of strength twice of her own weight(that being around 135lbs). Her eyes are a deep blue that
change to a lavender in moments of extreme emotion or uncomfortably. Also when her animal forms personality has taken its hold on her. Her clothes tend to cover the countless
amounts of scars that cover her stomach and back. Meaning she will never wear any revealing clothing, and tends to lean towards whatever makes her comfortable. She hates skirts,
and usually is known for wearing the men's school slacks.
Personality Description:
On the outside, Shoe stands to be a very logical person. At least in her own mind, she tries to be much of a people pleaser. Tet to the point where she attempts to be quick with her words. Confrontation scares her - and she tries to avoid fighting at all costs. However pushing the right buttons can get her to push back. She can snap, become very stubborn and think that she is right with her own opinions. With people’s lives depending on her, she takes things far too seriously. At times - it can have adverse affects on her own health.
Shoe is insecure about herself, everything she says she might think she’s messing it up. Social anxiety most situation she wants to avoid. Her animal portion keeps her from stopping from doing her job. She often finds herself into a rut that she cannot get out of. These are parts of her she hopes no one will see because she has to seem “strong.” for all intents and purposes she is not a normal person. She is self conscious about strangers touching her and usually avoids it more when it comes to men. Which comes in the way of her love of getting to know people, their lives, and their personalities.
One thing to note about her is she gets very easily attached and protective of people. Her quick words can come out wrong, they can seem rude and indecisive if someone around her she may think is getting offended by someone else. Shoe can get ahead of herself, she loves people - even if she feels she isn’t worth the time. She can be a very loving friend. When angry she tends to talk faster, but when seriously feeling threatened she will result in using force.
Powers:
-Lightning control
Shoe studies the magic of lightning and electricity. This coming from her species but something she had to learn in her later years.
Her lightning is neon blue in color - her weakness towards this is water. Along with her emotions if she isn't calm she won't be able,
to control the fluidity of it within her body. She is able to conduct electricity and channel it through her body, mainly with lightning bolts from her finger tips. Though also it may come out of her mouth in times of irritation.
Species Abilities:
-Shifting/animal form
Sonticus species are known for their animal second halves. They have unique personalities and tend to be almost like another being inside of their "host".
Shoe's own animal form whome she calls Sonnie, takes on male pronouns. He is gray in color with black markings - a purple mane, and white accents. Along with
the species distinct saber tooth mark. Their appearance resembles that of a Jackal wolf. Sonnie sits at 5' in height a runt in sonticus species terms. Only Shoe can
see and hear him inside of her head unless she is shifted where either she or Sonnie will be in control of the animal form. Shoe can shift at will, or sonnie can
force her shifting under the right circumstances. She is more vulnerable in her animal form than she is in her human form.

-Immortality
Sonticus are almost entirely and completely immortal. With only a handful of things that can kill them they are immune to fatal injuries and most illness.
Should Shoe "die" her body regenerates soon after leaving blanks in her memory for when Sonnie has to take over. Her body is very durable. The things that CAN
kill a Sonticus is another Sonticus(mainly their fangs) where it's built into their DNA that they can't kill each other but it is one of the major things to
kill them. Should a Sonticus kill another the surviving will be left with heavy anxiety, fear and other psychological symptoms. Other ways is magic, just nothing natural can kill them. Often magic weapons are their worst enemy. Also Sonticus are liable to their emotions which affect their health, they can get sick easily if upset.
-Black blood
Shoe's blood has a high iron content, because of her animal half. Her blood is thicker than a humans having an almost pudding like consistency once it exits the body and black in color. Along with this her blood is like
a sleeping medicine and pain killer. Often her rare species was known to be kidnapped and sold for their blood. However it's an addictive substance, and is NOT a substitute for normal medicine. Sonticus were nearly hunted to extinction because of this and because they can only reproduce with humans and other Sonticus.
Biography:
Shoe didn't star on the island at first. Living a normal life as a human with a normal family, unaware of her animal half until she turned eighteen years of age.
Where an incident happened at her school - not caused by her but by another other species at the highschool she had been attending. A dragon who had gone crazy,
Shoe ended up protecting the school and upon discovering that she was half sonticus due to her grandfather being one she was sent to the island. At first against her own will.
It didn't take very long for her to adjust though and try to make the most of it. Since she doesn't think she's alone - but she never really likes to go over the idea of being half animal.
Shoe feels distant to many of those on the island other than her younger brother.
Additional Information:
-shoe has a chronic illness linked with her sonticus half. It causes intense pain and she is bedridden for a few days of rest. It hits at random times and when this happens her animal form can become aggressive towards
herself. Some good earned rest keeps it at bay though.
-Younger brother came to the island after wanting to study magic and be closer to his sister(though he is fully human unlike her)
-Shoe is Polygamous, meaning she's open to having multiple partners should all parties agree. It doesn't mean she loves any of them more than the other,
she just believes that she can love more than one person in a romantic sense.
-She has a sword partner who turns into a human called Matthias who is ALWAYS at her hip. She gets severe anxiety without him which is the only reason he is permitted on campus grounds as long as he is not drawn.
