Sela's been having trouble adapting to society. A lot. The closest they've lived in a society before was their own dream world where everything adjusted to fit their mood. On Manta Carlos, they have to deal with laws, school, and people they can't simply absorb and wish away if they become annoying. Sela doesn't consider themself a person, and with them legally being considered a child because of their inconsistent age, they're even more restricted than other islanders. When they try to explain their situation and state of existence to people, they're met with confusion and sometimes judgment.
I'd like some plots where Sela is forced to address these issues. As their social anxiety increases, they've been considering letting the people inside of them take control of their body. One plot I'd like to explore is Sela running away from school to stay in the woods or Forbidden Forest. I'm up for other ideas though! They want to be far away from people and have a safe area to sleep in.
