Tamara could see the irritation in the nurse's face since it was written all over he face. While the parasite has been training herself to overcome her old habits, the taste of victory had always been sweet. She knew enough the nurse was not going to argue with her anymore. The nurse then turned her gaze to the fae, her eyes squinted as the boy quietly moved towards the exit.
Tamara wrote on her board again, tapping the nurse's arm to catch her attention. On the board was written:
"Leave him be. He does not have any business at the infirmary."
As Oren moved his way to her peripheral vision, she saw him smile at her and thank her. Tamara simply nodded at his direction, holding her board with a plain smiley drawn in front of her, just before the fae disappeared behind the door. He was an interesting one, she thought. She could get used to talking to such a curious person.
