“Even in a place meant to be a haven of sorts for misfits, there will be what is considered as ‘acceptable’ and ‘unacceptable,’ ergo, the cycle of outcasts continues to exist no matter of the setting or intent. We are the outcasts of misfits. We’ve distanced ourselves from the majority for various reasons. Whether it’s because we feel dirty, ashamed, weak, alone, or even something as simple as bored – we’ve all gathered together in chaotic unity.



“Join me. I don’t care what your reasons are. I won’t ask. If you want a place to belong, a reason to live beyond just existence, then you should join me… It won’t be easy, it won’t be perfect, but you’ll at least have a niche to call your own.”

These boys are a modest size group of friends. Back in the day they could have been considered as a club, however, due to the past year’s activities (of mugging for money, brawls, tagging, and other petty crimes) they’re now seen as a gang of hoodlums – more-or-less. With Makoto Inoue as the new leader, they’ve even dipped into stocks for money making and discrete trading. Because of such, their gang is no longer limited to just students at Starlight Academy, they’ve expanded to adults and the outside world as well.



So long as Makoto gets what he wants, the members of his group are free to do as they please. They only things he asks for are the following:

• OBEDIENCE: If Makoto orders something, he expects to be obeyed. He doesn’t usually request or order anything. Most often he’ll demand a grunt to get out and make their money quota for the week or request another member to fulfill a task fitting to the situation. Other than that, nothing is asked of them.
  
• LOYALTY: Trust is a necessity amongst all of the gang's members. They may get into volatile tiffs and beat the shit out of each other now and then, but betrayal is absolutely unforgivable.
  
• GROWTH: to stay at the top of the “food chain,” one must grow stronger, more skilled. This doesn’t necessarily apply to only fighting (albeit, that is what this gang is mostly known for at face value), but this could be a more technical or academic skill that can benefit the group (i.e. stocks).[/list:u]
  
  
  Lastly, Makoto only accepts males into his gang. At the moment, they’re only students from his grade (high school) but they will likely expand later on. There is probably a female equivalent to them that could potentially be a rival gang.
