SA Ranger Applications

This month, we'll be changing the role of rangers on the site. The original Ranger role will be removed and replaced with two new roles: Event Rangers and App Rangers.

Event Rangers

Event Rangers, as the name implies, will be assisting mods with site events. For the most part, the events themselves will still be run by mods. Event rangers will assist by helping organise events, setting the stage or playing NPCs.

App Rangers

App Rangers will be assisting with character approvals. They'll be looking over new characters as they're posted, taking note of things that they believe needs changing and discussing them with the approving mod in order to speed up the approval process. App Rangers will not be directly PMing members with their feedback.

Both types of rangers will maintain the orange color and ranger position on discord, and will be expected to follow site rules as current rangers do.

Both these positions will be open for any member who wishes to volunteer. If you're interested, send Romi a PM on-site.

There are no requirements for either position, beyond being an active member of the site. In both cases, we'll be helping train new rangers as they come on. Past experience is not required. Both positions require some amount of availability, and are not guaranteed positions. If you grab an app ranger position but then never provide any feedback, you'll be returned to normal member status.
