Roommate Wanted! [Very Open]

Wohali's plots aren't going anywhere. And I'd like them to go somewhere. SO!

The character's link is in my sig (which I need to update, but I'm usually on mobile so it's hard). I'm looking for a character that is pushy enough to get through to Hali, but is still patient enough to respect his boundaries and not push him over the edge. I'd definitely like roommate plots. I'd also be up for romance, but keep in mind it will be SLOW-BURN. I'd also prefer a male roommate, but I'll work with anything if the plots seem to be good. :)

Just an edit/revision: I'd also be down for negative plots as well as positive plots. Bad roommate matches are just as intriguing as good ones! As long as the match is interesting and fun, I'm interested.

A lack of romance is totally fine. I'm looking at Aten, and it would definitely be an interesting pair. His positive, carefree nature is a good contrast to Hali, and it could get him out of his shell a little. Though, how deep is the deceit? Is he capable of forming lasting relationships that he himself values, or just bonds that he uses as pawns and the like?

For plots, Hali is one of my more narrow character. Ideally, I'd like a slow-burn friendship, one that slowly helps Hali come out of his shell (at least around his roommate) and "wakes him up" a little. So things aren't so painful all the time, and maybe he might become more trusting.

HOWEVER. As everyone should realize by now, I'm absolutely a fan of ruining characters too, regardless of how messed up they are already. Makes the rise back up even better when it does eventually happen. A more toxic approach could work, but it'd have to be plotted a little more carefully, and it would depend on personalities and the like.
